Nice features. Good price for basics. Heater functions were not obvious and text communications requesting instructions for using the heater generated the strange and incorrect response that a heater was not a listed as an one of the amenities and that using the fireplace only available option. Since it was close to 5pm we just barely had time to go find firewood and spent $60 to keep us warm with the fireplace. When I further investigated that a heater is listed as part of the property features I again requested instructions because the apartment was not heating up and the thermostat had no instructions on it. There were no vents or obvious heater features and the thermostat had no numbers or heat level and seemed to be a simple dial from the 70-80's.
I believe the property owner needs to leave an explanation of how to set the Thermostat to a comfortable level because once we began using it, it was either too hot or too cold...
It would be nice to be able to use the provided TV to access my own Amazon Prime or AppleTV, etc... account rather than use the scheduled cable provided. A smart tv or Roku device would do a lot to add to evening entertainment.
One major complaint was the lack of properly functioning and ucovered electrical outlets. This is actually a safety issue. Most of the outlets did not hold onto plugs. They would slip out of the outlet. This is not an expensive repair. One outlet to the right of the fireplace is missing the cover altogether.
