Angel Fire Vacation Rental Pet Friendly Cozy light bright Home

Beautiful, cozy , passive solar home is located in Angel Fire, New Mexico. There is plenty to do here, both summer and winter. The well stocked kitchen allows for numerous cooks. The upstairs master suite, with a queen size bed and single day bed has a private deck. The master bath has a shower and separate jetted tub and double sinks. Downstairs, one bedroom adjoins the bathroom, has a queen size bed and access to the lower deck. The third bedroom has a full/twin bunkbed. The kitchen, dining and living room are all open for lots of family togetherness. There is a queen size hide-a-bed with memory foam mattress in the living room. The roomy deck has a table with lighted solar umbrella and chairs. There are also chaise lounges and a porch swing. There is also a removable gate for pets and young children. Upper deck has a bistro table and 2 chairs.
The ski area is 1 mile for downhill skiing and tubing in winter, biking and hiking and zipline in the summer. A hike in national forest is 1/2 mile away. The Country Club is 1 1/2 miles away for golf, tennis and basketball, a pool and weight room and restaurants and bar. Monte Verde Lake, 2 miles has fishing and pedal boats as well as paddle boards, or bring your own.

Angel Fire is a great place to relax and just enjoy the outdoors. There is lots of wildlife around. The hiking is great. The stars are wonderful on a clear night. Our house is passive solar so it is light and bright and stays nice and warm in the winter thanks to the sun. You can see more info and pictures on our website at angelfirerent. Cozy with great location

We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it every time. Close to resort, close enough to golf, and very close to green space. The green space in Angel Fire is an excellent amenity. Shirley and Curt have always been great to deal with and never any trouble.

Aspens in Angel Fire

The house met all of our needs while there for a short fall mountain biking trip. Comfortable furnishings and well supplied. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we come to Angel Fire

It was our second stay at the property and everything was great! The owners were very helpful and we found snowshoeing just across the road in the greenbelt. There was an abundance of cooking supplies and we enjoyed great meals.

Comfortable, homey, relaxing, well stocked home. Far enough from town for relaxing and watching the deer come around the property, yet close enough to the ski slope and restaurants and the sleigh rides to enjoy the activities offered.

This house is amazing! First place we could actually have a real fire. Beds are comfy and the whirlpool tub is wonderful after a day of skiing. Check in and out is super simple and the location is perfect. Loved seeing the deer in the yard. Hope we can stay here again.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. We especially enjoyed having close access to trails system. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for preparing meals. The grocery store is close by as well. The deck and outdoor games were a hit as well. Deer visited the yard several times during our stay. The hosts were quick with communication. Everything was just as pictured and described.

Great location, all the amenities we could ask for, plenty of space for my family of four, nice outdoor space for kids to play, clean beds, bathrooms, and kitchen, hot showers. Down the street from gas station and grocery store. Needed 4x4 to get out of sloped driveway when icy. Would stay again.

We had 10 people and a dog, and the house was very comfortable for all of us! (we came in the summer, and wished we had brought a fan, but that's probably because we are used to a lot of air conditioning) Curt was great to work with and we had a great time!!

Close to everything

Very comfortable and the perfect size for a large family or group. Loved seeing the Family of Deer come by each morning. Very well stocked with all the essentials as well as games and videos for kids. The nights were very cold, but loading the wood stove before bed kept us all toasty warm all night. House is only 2 minutes from base at Angel Fire, and about 30 minutes from Taos. Experienced owners made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely rent again.

Stay here!

The home did not feel like a rented house - it felt like family had given us the keys and went out of their way to make sure we had everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, we needed to feel comfortable and welcome. The cabin is so well equipped and anything you might have a question about (heating, TV operations, kitchen equipment, WI-FI, etc.) had helpful labels and instructions. We had a few questions prior to arrival and our hosts were quick to answer, and again, very accommodating. We stayed during winter to ski the several close resorts (one less than two miles away) but it would be wonderful to stay all year around. I hope we can stay again soon.

Time to Relax on the Deck!

My husband and I had a delightful time at this comfortable cabin. The kitchen/living area were very spacious, with beautiful windows looking out on the property, which is set back from the road, providing plenty of privacy. The large deck along the back of the cabin was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The neighborhood is very quiet, and deer joined us each day, making our time outside even better! I LOVED the kitchen; very organized, well equipped, and very pleasant. The entire home is Super Clean. This property is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway.

Great place for hiking, riding and wildlife

This was our first trip to Angel Fire, NM. We needed a quiet place that we could bring our dog to that would be near hiking, mountain biking and the town center and this was perfect! The house has the feeling of a family home- everything you could need was available. We were happy staying there. If you are looking for place in the mountains that offers a variety of activities and is close to other destinations like Eagle Nest Lake and Taos,NM this is a perfect location- One thing I would advise- if you are sensitive to perfumed soaps or detergents bring you own. All of the soaps at this property even the garbage bags were heavily scented. Be prepared to cook most of your meals-the restaurants in Angel Fire are not operating at full capacity and the food selection is limited. The market is great! And you can get anything you want there....it is why we booked this rental- it was close enough to walk to.

Why they chose this property

We chose to build a home in Angel Fire because we love it up here. The air smells so good. There is so much to do. We love skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and just relaxing on the deck and watching the deer.

What makes this property unique

We have tried to make our home very cozy and relaxing. We have tried to anticipate our guests' needs and wants. We have lots of games and puzzles and outdoor games. There are books to read. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking or baking needs. The deck is furnished with a table and chairs, a swing, chaise lounge and extra chairs so everyone can be comfortable. Its a great place to watch the deer and birds or read a book, or cheer on a game of horseshoes, or corn hole.
