Nab first chair and lay first tracks each morning, then stash your gear in the large front entry area before heading over to the resort itself, about a mile away, for après ski at any of several restaurants and bars. More options, plus shopping and other amenities, are about three miles north in downtown Winter Park.

At the home itself, you’ll find a cheerful, mountain-modern vibe, with stylish, colorful furnishings, pine-paneled walls, and an open layout. Pop into the sleek kitchen, boasting a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and make some mealtime magic, then serve up your culinary creations at the adjacent dining table.

After a day on the slopes, relax at home with a little streaming TV or a board game while the in-home washer/dryer takes care of any laundry. The night ends in any of three snug bedrooms, and you’d best call it an early night - you don’t want to miss first chair tomorrow.

Good location, clean, bring your own kitchen items

House was clean and in a good location. Kitchen lacked some basics such as a spatula and guest services said this wasn’t a requirement and suggested I buy my own. If you intend to cook bring what you think you need. The oven tripped the circuit breaker while pre-heating and management came out to resolve the next day, but only after following up because the original complaint was “misdirected”.

Container House!

The house was very clean but sadly, previous guests put away several dishes and pans that were dirty! The handles on some of the pits and pans were dangerously loose, I could have fixed that in 5 minutes with a phillips screw driver. There was a small leak in the roof in the master bath due to an ice dam, Vacasa was strangely uninterested in inspecting to see if there were more serious issues. I hope the homeowner was notified. The Container house is an awesome location for ski in, ski out and is well furnished. We had a great stay!
