Nice Place - good location

Very nice - in a good location in South Bend if your doing a lot of traveling around town and surrounding areas. One caution - Took my 90 year old mother on the trip. The house has a lot of steps. Was not good for her with limited mobility. Fine for the rest of us.

We stayed five nights at this house and had a mixed experience. The location was great, and the host’s communication was excellent — always quick, friendly, and helpful.That said, the property could use some updating and maintenance. The linens and pillows were old, and the linen closet was disorganized. The carpet was dirty, the basement floor was uneven, and the sofa bed in the basement was in terrible condition. The bathroom door didn’t close properly, and both the coffee maker and washer/dryer had issues functioning correctly.With some care and improvements to cleanliness and furnishings, this home could be a great rental. The host’s responsiveness stood out in a positive way, but the overall comfort and upkeep fell short of expectations.
