Property is in a campground with the home on the back of the property . Had other renters come on the property we rented while we were there fishing and riding mini bikes through the yard . He Advertised a 180 foot slide and swing on the pond. ( big attraction) We were told 5 days prior that we couldn’t use it. Big disappointment since that was a BIG pull for us to rent the home. The host knew it was disappointing and I told him things would have been different if I knew before deadline of refund wasn’t passed. So we had our vacation there. Had a good time. But he wouldn’t refund any money back for the attractions that brought us to his place. We found out the other campers got refunded, for the same disappointment. Not happy with the host. Blamed me for not complaining to him ( during our stay! )

This property is contained on a 400 acre parcel. This parcel does contain three separate houses we rent and a small campground. The water slide and swing were built for the campground as well as the sand volleyball and basketball/pickleball court. Those amenities are not listed as included amenities on our VRBO listings (though people are allowed to use if operational). These two amenities were shut down for reasons beyond our control, and the guest was told this the week before they came. The guest said ok and I'm sure we will still have a good time. This guest never told us anyone was near the property during their stay or it would have been addressed. I have camp managers that interacted with them several times throughout their stay and this was never even mentioned. The campers got a partial refund because these amenities are part of the campground. This guest, even though not entitled to a refund was offered a big discount on their next stay with us as a sign of goodwill. The guest also confirmed they had a good time at our place and did enjoy kayaking, bike riding and other amenities. I did not blame them for not complaining I just said that while on property you had no complaints over the 4 days here but then a day after you left the property you said that you wanted money back for issues we never knew about while you were here. We value our guests and try hard to provide a great experience. Thank you for staying with us!

Plenty of space for our group of 18. Great activities for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Trip

We had a great time. 10 adults and 4 children plus 2 babies. Loved the layout, relaxing while checking out the view of the lake. Lots for the kids to do. Lots of room. Very accomodating host and staffing. Would visit again.
