Nestled within the oak trees of a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, and adjacent to 21-acre Night Heron Park, our Premier rated single-family, three bedroom cottage enjoys convenient access to East Beach Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, and Kiawah’s 10 miles of beach. The beach is just a 4 minute walk from the front door. Our guests enjoy resort privileges.
Our lovely Heron's Nest cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a spacious great room, and dining space for 10 people: plus a screened porch, sundeck, outdoor shower, exterior storage, a grill, an electric vehicle charger, and private tuck-under parking. Outdoor decks overlook the canopies of Kiawah's live oak trees. It is truly your Kiawah Island sanctuary.

Beautiful Kiawah

We really enjoyed our stay at Kiawah Island Resort. The home was very comfortable and the grounds were well manicured. It was an easy walk to the beach. We loved the convenience of the Nest Market prepared dinners, that were delicious.

Perfect family getaway

This place is conveniently located and perfectly laid out for a family. Everyone had their own space and we were able to hang out together comfortably, whether in the living room, dining room, or on the back porch. Karin is very responsive and made sure that our stay was perfect.

Great Location

The cottage is in a great location - close to the beach! Communication with the host was outstanding. Check-in at the office was easy and the desk staff members were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit.

Great family trip

The property was absolutely beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed for the week. The property was clean, decor was nice and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the house - indoor and outdoor. The location was fantastic, just a quick walk to the park, pool and beach. We would love to stay again!!!

Our first introduction to Kiawah Island was in the 1990's when the closest grocery store was 30 minutes away and the resort was limited to just a few condos and housing communities. Yet, it is not surprising that the island has flourished as a place of retreat and refreshment. From our first visit more than 20 years ago to the time we spend on the island today, we can feel our spirits lift and stress melt away as soon as we cross the marsh and drive onto the island.
As our family has grown, Kiawah has continued to be the place where we long to be. From the expansive and pristine beaches, to the connection to nature, to the exquisite resort facilities and family activities, to the close proximity to Charleston; Kiawah is our first choice for a weeklong vacation or weekend escape. Our family has made our home in North Carolina and we travel to the island as often as our busy family life allows. We have come to love our time at Kiawah and want to offer the same place of retreat and refreshment to you. We welcome you to enjoy the Heron's Nest as your Kiawah home away from home.
