RUN!!! DO NOT BOOK!!!

When we arrived, we noticed stains on the couch and chairs. We also noticed huge hairballs and that the rugs had not been vacuumed or cleaned in quite some time. We attempted to make the best and went to dinner. When we arrived back and went to go to bed, we noticed that the covers and sheets were dingy and dirty. There were strands of hair within the covers and dust/dirt on the sheets. There were 3 bedrooms and each bed seemed to be worse than the other. The bathroom tub was dirty. My husband attempted to sweep the home to try to make it livable. As he swept, it became more apparent that the home had not been properly cleaned at all. We didn't feel comfortable. We contemplated sleeping on the couch or going to Walmart to purchase sheets just to be comfortable. Ultimately, we had to book a hotel and leave the home as the conditions were just unacceptable. We immediately messaged the person we had been corresponding with and received a generic message asking us for 5 stars as it impacts their rating. We are still trying to get a refund. Our trip was almost ruined and thankfully we were able to find other accommodations. After being on the road for 5 hours, this was not what we wanted to have to deal with. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and will hopefully make this right.
