Great house, the elevator is a great luxury that helps when arriving and leaving. Nice pool and fire pit was used. Nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. Our group cooked in house every night, good with small children.

Best Beach House!

We have now found our beach house to make family traditions each summer! All the comforts of home, plenty of room for kids and adults. The floor plan was so awesome for a large family. All of the beds were comfy. Direct access to the beach was so convenient. All of the porches with phenomenal views were amazing. Well stocked kitchen with all the amenities to cook meals in. The elevator was a true game changer. So easy! Can’t wait to rebook for next year.

Relaxed at the beach

A great property with a great location. Maybe a few things to be repaired but nit-picky at best. Switch covers missing, bolts missing from furniture on second floor patio. Sprinklers ran several hours per day which made it difficult to use the beach side yard. There are not a lot of dinner choices on the cape (preferred), but that said, a better stocked kitchen could go a long way to offset the options and provide a better variety staying in. All nit-picky, we all loved the property and the quiet area.

Quiet & Beautiful Beachfront Vacation

We wanted to end the year after the holiday craze with a quiet and calming weeklong stay at the beach. This house provided the perfect backdrop for that. While we had done plenty of Florida beach vacations, we had never heard of Cape San Blas before this trip. It is absolutely beautiful (a secret gem)…sand is like silk and so many sea shells…my kids were in heaven. We have high standards and this house pretty much met them all. Very clean and nicely constructed with all the modern amenities. We really like to cook, so we did miss our good knives and other cooking utensils (a good lemon squeezer) so if that is your thing…you may consider bringing it with you (assuming you’re coming by car). Lots of stairs, so we did appreciate the elevator when carting luggage and groceries. There is not a lot of “local activity” or a ton of tourists (at least not when we went)…which is exactly the experience we were hoping for. It’s our new happy place and we plan to return in the near future and hope to stay in this home again when we do.

Fantastic time

4 families stayed for a short vacation. The house is very comfortable, new, clean. Communication with the property manager was good. The elevator was a huge help as we shopped and cooked our meals at home. Much easier than climbing all those steps.

Great house, equipped to accommodate families

We very much enjoyed our stay the Kanani beach house. The accommodations were great, the house was clean and the location and views were spectacular. The pool was a huge bonus for the kids. Our only complaint would be the outdoor shower did not work very well so it made cleaning off sand from the beach a bit more of a task. It we could suggest any changes it would be to add a boardwalk to the beach.

Cape San Blas

The location and the home were great. We chose this property mainly because it had an elevator (we are a group in our 50's & 60's). Twenty-four hours before check-in I received a message that the elevator was not working. This prevented one of our group from coming (she had a recent knee replacement). We were surprised that the kitchen was on the third floor, no elevator made this a challenge. The kitchen had two dish towels, nine plates, and six wine glasses. There was plenty of flatware, bowls, and other glasses. We happened to come during a very cold week, there were no blankets. In spite of everything, we had a good time, the home is lovely.

Great House!

We had a great stay here! We had 9 people, ranging in age from 3 to 67. We went in the off season, so it was super quiet and relaxing, hardly anyone around. Cape San Blas isn’t a booming area, so we did have drive into Port St Joe and Mexico Beach for restaurants. This is a place you would go and do a lot of cooking, so be prepared for that. I have two, very minor, complaints: when we got there, the floors were pretty dusty and dirty, and the microwave was pretty gross on the inside (everything else was clean). We looked for a vacuum but there wasn’t one, and there should definitely be access to one because of the sand. Outside of these things, the house was perfect, and we would definitely book again!

Great Experience. House is amazing!

House was amazing. Located directly on the beach, easy to cart and gear to beach with no ramps: stairs; or walkways. Sand all the way from lower level was great. Living area was very big, updated kitchen and decor, comfortable beds, and balconies were great. The lower level outdoor shower and bathroom really came in handy! Overall a great experience. Not much around so being comfortable in the house was very important. We had 4 adults, 3 toddlers, 1 infant, and 1 little boy. We never felt cramped at all. Great experience.

Beautiful home steps from the ocean

Well appointed and perfect for our family. Enjoyed amazing sunsets on the 3rd floor balcony. The absence of light pollution made for fantastic star gazing. Have already recommended this home and location to friends.

Overall experience was good

Overall lovely! However, the pots and pans less than desirable. Floors were not clean when we arrived. Needed more blankets for beds. Very space kitchen supplies. Water pressure in shower was horrible. Would be nice to have a broom. The door lock didn't work when we arrived but we got in through the back door.

Perfect house!

We thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at the house. It had every feature you could want and some you didn’t know you wanted until you got there. The large pantry, extra drink/ice fridge, and outdoor shower were nice surprises that were much appreciated. Thanks so much!

Incredible Beach Home for the Holidays

My family and extended family (6 adults, 4 children) spent an incredible week at the beach for Christmas. Kanani is an amazing home that more than accommodated our group. This is a beautiful, clean, well appointed luxury home with furnishings and technology (wifi, smart TVs, appliances, elevator). The views are spectacular. The beach is a short walk from the house. We will definitely recommend this home for multi-family vacation. A special note to Natural Retreats management company - they were extremely accommodating, responsive, and very friendly. Cannot say enough good things about Kanani and Natural Retreats. This was the perfect place for a special and memorable holiday with my family.

Thanksgiving

What a blessing to find a home to hold the fourteen of us. My siblings and their families all got tested for COVID so we could be with our Mom at Thanksgiving. This quiet fishing town was our retreat. We were all negative and able to come together in one space. Relaxing and rejuvenating.

Fall Break at Kanani

We had a wonderful stay at Kanani! The house was perfect for our 4 generations - ranging from age 21 months to 83 years. The beach access and views were so relaxing and recharging and the kitchen space was great for shared meal prep/serving and games in the evening. We had asked for a high chair which was there before arrival and also a CrockPot which was provided too. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Great week -Great house

The house , beach, everything was perfect . The dryer was not working and the repairing van caught fire in the driveway , unfortunately. We used the fire extinguisher trying to save the van. Please recharge it ....so sorry about the van you lost .....
