Welcome to your private cabin nestled in NorCal’s Redwoods - with a picturesque ocean view at the center of the home. Situated in the idyllic, coastal town of Elk, you’ll be secluded to peacefully unwind, yet conveniently located to the renowned hiking, kayaking, restaurants and wine that Elk + Mendocino County offer.

The cabin is equipped with the proper modern conveniences for your solo, family or couple’s getaway: hot tub, stocked kitchen, record player, eclectic book collection & more. Please note if you would like to use the wood burning stove fireplace, please bring your own firewood to the cabin.

Please note that we’ve rented our cabin on Airbnb for 3+ years with Superhost status, so feel free to check there for reviews as needed! (We just began listing on VRBO in Jan. 2023)

Cozy cabin with an ocean view

Very comfortable cabin just outside town of Elk. Great wood burning stove, ocean view, close to great restaurants and really close to many hiking trails and beaches.

Magical respite in the trees

This location is truly magical. The trees and ocean and sky are all beautiful and the cabin and deck fit right within them. It was easy to get to, comfortable, and had everything we need. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. We loved it.

Great cabin

We loved our stay. Really nice cabin. Amazing view. Great hot tub. Everything we needed. Great location, very quiet. I wish there was more firewood and better bedding.
