***HOT TUB UNAVAILABLE DEC 2024**** Sea Cloud is the perfect place to relax & renew. Our cottage nests cozily on a high bluff with breathtaking panoramas of the Pacific Ocean, at the junction of Anderson Valley wineries & the majestic Mendocino coast. Sit on the deck or take a soak in a hot tub under the stars. A short drive takes you to historic Mendocino village. A Zagat-rated restaurant is steps away!
Sea Cloud Cottage is a studio with a kitchen and bathroom. The private deck has a hot tub, and parking is just across the quiet street.
A few things to note --
No children under 12 years old are allowed.
Well-behaved dogs are permitted with a $25 fee. Dogs cannot be left alone on the premises.
We offer Wifi, but it is provided by a small local company that cannot necessarily restore service quickly if there is an outage (usually caused by storms). So, just a heads up -- it's not an ideal spot for remote work. Verizon generally covers the property though if you are willing to rely on data as a backup.

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary at Sea Cloud. It was the perfect little getaway in the cutest little cottage overlooking the ocean. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend for any couples looking for a romantic retreat!
We had a wonderful stay in Shangri-La. Love the small cottage, very cozy. View was to die for. Genevieve, Sarah, and Judith were great hosts. We highly recommend staying here.

It all started in 1998 when my mother-in-law gave me (Geneviève) a book of recipes by Margaret Fox where she explained how she opened Café Beaujolais in Mendocino. I like to cook, and I loved both the recipes and the story. My husband, Jonathan, surprised me with a trip to Mendocino and a fine meal at Café Beaujolais to celebrate my birthday… it was fate. For almost two decades, we’d come back to Mendocino every year—sometimes twice a year, to spend time together and enjoy the magic of the Pacific Ocean.
After living and raising our two daughters in Petaluma we decided to move to the Mendocino area--Albion!
I'm a retired nurse; Jonathan was a writer. I've lived in California for nearly 25 years, but I'm originally from France and love hosting our two cottages.
