Clairmont stay

It met our needs and was very conveniently located and comfortable. Backyard was shared and this was not disclosed but it was fine. Also a lot of street noise. Overall very comfortable

Thanks for being our guest Maryam. Our great location, makes easy access to attractions, the Universities, the hospitals, the beach and Everything San Diego! Thoughtfulness was put into each room of the house, with comfort in mind and we appreciate that you noticed! The house is very quiet and guest tell us they feel removed from the outside environment. I believe the "street noise" was the city's street department, working on the sidewalks at the corner. The entire property is very quiet and in a quiet family neighborhood. The beautifully appointed backyard is in deed private and solely for the use of our house guest! Although we gave 5 stars for communication, no concerns were expressed to us. We are always available to help, It is a big house and when questions come up, we are available!

Very nice

We had a wonderful stay and this property is everything that the pictures show. It was spacious, clean, and had pretty much everything that our family needed. The host was kind and helpful. The location is truly central to beaches, airport, Old Town, downtown, and Pt Loma. We chose to use a laundry mat instead of the machines on the property. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a space for family in a quiet neighborhood. Love it here.

We had issues with the following while staying at this house. We also specifically had issues with the timeliness of the response and the lack of follow-through regarding the A/C issues. Only stay at this house if you: *Don’t need the A/C to work the whole time, don’t want any written instructions on how to get it to work when it does not, and don’t care if you are blamed by the host when you ask about fixing it as we were told by the host, “Someone must have messed with it,” when we asked how to fix it. *Don’t want to use the Smart TVs included in the listing. And, don’t want access to local channels. *Don’t want to use the BBQ included in the listing. We never found it. *Don’t want to cook big meals. Only two burners on the stove were fully functional, and the bottom and larger oven did not work. *Don’t care about coffee made quickly. The pot is old and cheap and took forever to brew. *Don’t care about chipped glassware.Per VRBO, hosts are responsible for functional amenities. “VRBO's marketplace standards require hosts to ensure all amenities listed in the property description (including air conditioning) are functional and available for guest use.”  We will not stay here, nor will we rent from this host again.
