The house was spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay. It was near many small towns that we enjoyed visiting. I would mention in the description that the pool is not heated in the winter and therefore not available so that people know that up front. The property was beautiful.
Perfect location btw church and reception. Clean and property manager very responsive and proactive making sure we were all set and if we needed anything shortly after arriving. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time and the house was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful away from to the hustle and bustle of the city. There were some issues that were taken care of quickly.
This house has the bones to be a great family of friend vacation home but there is a lot left to be desired. We booked the house for friend trip to get all of our kids together for a fun weekend. We wanted a house with a big living area and a pool for all of us to reconnect.
On the day of our arrival, the pool was milky green and there was zero visibility. We messaged the property manager about it and we’re assured it was safe to swim and the color would correct by the following day. The color didn’t change the entirety of the stay and we were told that was just because it was well water but the same well water we used for showering and cooking didn’t come out that color so the explanation fell flat.
The worst part of the trip was the ant infestation, and I’m not talking a few sugar ants. This was a serious fire ant problem and they were biting everyone in the house and we couldn’t use the dining table because it was taken over by the bugs. We have pictures and video showing the same.
The story of this house is that it could be great if the owners took better care of it.
