Lovely yard
The house is an older, but slightly updated cottage. There is the character of original wood floors that creak and groan. Baths, one upstairs and one down, are small but have been updated. The master bedroom on the main level is simple but good sized. A more limited number of electrical outlets are what might be expected in an older home. We pondered certain little decorating touches in keeping with the vintage of the cottage that could add to the ambiance. It is not an open floorplan, but larger sized windows allow light to cheer the living space. The cottage is within easy walking distance of downtown McCall. It sits on a corner lot, nicely fenced to protect from the friendly neighborhood deer. One of the two streets is VERY busy; however, a variety of full growth pines and aspens afford privacy. We did our own cooking five of our six nights. The kitchen was well stocked, but with limited counter space. The best features of this cottage are the pleasant front porch and backyard with grill, dining table, and firepit. The carport is convenient.
