We welcome you to our one-bedroom, newly built property in North Pacific Beach. This home will have you feeling nestled away in your very own oasis as it sits high on the second floor. Head up the spiral stairs to your very own private rooftop complete with a BBQ, fire pit, loungers, cantilever umbrella and comfortable seating around. But that's not all, soak in the peek-a-boo ocean views from up here too... it's a true glimpse of paradise.

Things to know: Cancel up to 30-days prior to your arrival for a full refund We are pet friendly! We welcome 1 dog to accompany your stay (non-shedding, less than 25lbs). A $200 non-refundable pet fee will be added on to your reservation. This home is a detached, private 1 bedroom unit on a shared property. The main home onsite is also a rental (single-family 5 bedroom home). There is no designated parking for this home. This home is located on the second floor and requires stairs for entry. There are a separate set of spiral stairs up to the rooftop. This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices. We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use. You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.
Neighborhood Notes: Pacific Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Pacific Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.
Attention: This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

Parking: There is no designated parking for this home. There is typically ample street parking available on Sapphire St or neighboring neighborhoods (especially during off-season months).

Please turn off all lights, fans, and HVAC; lock all doors and windows; start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes; leave used towels on the bathroom floor and beds unmade; and remove all trash and recycling. Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. What a great property and fantastic location. A five minute walk to the beach. Lots of cool spots for coffee, food, drink within a 5 minute walk. Easy parking. And a very well appointed place. I have already booked it for our next trip!!

Clean and comfy; exactly as pictured. Good location for our purposes - easy walk to Bird Rock. This is our second stay at a Drift Vacation home and will definitely stay with them again.
This place was adorable, clean & well kept. The rooftop deck was perfect for quiet lounging. Checking in/out was easy.

Great Apartment and Location
Stayed here for a month and had a great experience. The apartment is newly renovated and very clean and functional. There is a great view of the ocean from the rooftop patio and is a short distance from the beach and Bird Rock. Would definitely visit again.

Great stay in North PB
This place was perfect for my husband and me. Everything was modern - kitchen, bathroom, living space, bedroom. It was so well equipped with everything you might need, including beach towels and chairs for the quick 7 minute walk to Tourmaline Beach. We loved having the private rooftop deck which included two loungers, a big umbrella, two chairs and a cocktail table plus a fire pit and grill. It was a great space to have morning coffee or watch the sunset. There isn't a dedicated parking space but 90% of the time we found street parking in front of our unit. The other times we might have parked a block away. Couldn't ask for more and we will definitely stay here again!
We had a really wonderful stay! There are great coffee shops, grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance and it was so nice being close to the beach. It was so nice to enjoy the rooftop while our baby was napping/sleeping. Parking was always easy to find. I would highly recommend this space.

Wife and dogs!
My wife and I and two dogs enjoyed our stay! Neighborhood is friendly, short walks to shops and eatery’s! Place has everything you need and very clean!
This place was absolutely perfect for our week stay. It had everything we needed from amenities to the perfect amount of space for 2 people. Amazing location minutes (by foot and car) to the ocean and wonderful cafes/restaurants - on top of being nestled in a very safe feeling neighborhood. The apartment was clean, private and everything we needed. I would absolutely return for our next stay!
Highly recommended newly renovated condo with a great view from the rooftop! We loved staying here and the location was perfect. The unit was perfect for us with all the amenities we needed. The communication with the management company was top notch! We would definitely stay here again.
The home is one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a stones throw from Tourmaline Beach & close to several restaurants and shops. Great contemporary design, everything feels brand new, awesome rooftop patio with views of everything! The A/C kept things at a perfect temperature and the neighborhood is really nice and easy to find parking.
We loved this tiny little place. It was perfect for 2. Very clean and we lived on the rooftop deck, sunning, working out and hanging out! I was so close to bars, restaurants and the beach! Perfect location!
Everything thing we needed was already there when we arrived. Felt like we were the first renters because the place was very new and very clean.

Just Right
Just right...size, location, access, amenities and clean. Size is small. Location is quiet but in the middle of it all. Guest needs provided. Comfy bed and pull out sofa as expected. Full yet compact kitchen and even a washer and dryer. Unique roof top space adds another room to it all in the sunshine or under the stars.
The property was better than expected. I highly recommend.
The only con I have is the parking. The agent said, since it was off season it should be easier to find parking. Not so much...be careful on weekends.

Location is 10min walk from Tourmaline Beach in a quiet neighborhood. I had a pleasant ~2month stay while working in SD. Comfortable bedroom, well-equipped kitchen, and rooftop deck can work for a gathering. Big thanks to the super-responsive property mgr for adding a small desk for computer work and roofdeck umbrella, which overall made the spaces more comfortable and work-oriented rather than crashpad-ish. A good choice for a weekend stay. Is the back unit of another apt, so the entrance that doesn't intrude on the front unit is the alley through the garbage bins (not my favorite as they were nearly always full from the other units). Near a nice surf break and a handful of nice restaurants eastward
Can't say enough. We had such a great experience with our rental and we've had a few over the last nine years. The pictures are accurate and current, and they're not stretched. The unit was so clean, everything was great quality, the location was maybe 2-3 blocks to Tourmaline beach, loved the rooftop sunset and barbecuing. And the neighborhood is safe and quiet and people are so nice. And their response to a few texts were very timely. Definitely will rent here again, without a doubt. Bonus--daughter lives very very close. We will be back. Thanks Jorde!
I was initially a little concerned about a place in North PB but the walk to the action down by Garnet was not terrible and there are some nice restaurants nearby on Cass st. The place itself was as advertised and nice and clean. Finding nearby parking was relatively easy. My only suggestion for the owners is to have at least one beach umbrella, beach chair and boogie board and to have a couple more supplies for until a renter can get to a store like … a little coffee, a few packs of sugar and artificial sweetener, some creamer not requiring refrigeration, a gallon of water. Also, one comfy chair in the living room would be useful. Sofa was not great to sit in because of deep seat with too mushy back. It was great to lie on though! Would stay there again!
Wonderful spot with a great rooftop view, was perfect for what we wanted! Very clean, nice amenities, and a very peaceful neighborhood. Would stay again!
