The property is stunning! Lots of relaxing/hangout areas. Rooms are large with comfortable bedding, and plenty of bathrooms. Easy access to Lake Martin with some privacy is nice, and easy to find! Everything was super clean and had a large kitchen for our family to hang out in and eat together.

The home was very nice and well kept. We had our first family business meeting at this location. 10 adults and 5 grandkids under three. Landscaping was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well appointed and equipped. We plan to return next year.

Overall this was a great place to stay. Our Multi-Family group rents a property on Lake Martin every year for the Labor Day weekend. This house easily accommodated our 6 adults and 5 children. The internet and TV's worked great while we were there and there was ample parking for our vehicles and boat trailer. The only two drawbacks I will mention are the hill down to the water and the Commercial Ice machine. The walk down to the water is just a grassy hill, which can be slippery in the morning dew, so be careful. The listing shows a commercial ice machine as a perk, however we found it to be inoperable and appeared to have been that way for quite some time. As a group who takes our boat out daily over the holiday weekend, we were looking forward to having that available to prevent several ice-runs to the store. Unfortunately, we had to do that anyway. Other than that, the house was great and had everything we needed. The owner responded quickly to any messages we sent and the check-in/out process was very smooth.

Great Experience

This is our 3rd group trip to Lake Martin and one of the best so far. The house had all of the simple (yet needed) amenities that most places don’t offer. Great layout for families with kids, and able to accommodate a decent size group. Will stay again!

Annual family vacation

This is the one time of the year we get together with ALL our kids and grandkids. We had 15 people and the house fit us perfectly. The outside areas were great and the location was very quiet and relaxing. Swimming and boating were great. Highly recommend if you have a large gathering.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful family vacation for my son's 18th birthday. Beds were comfortable. Home is nicely furnished. Really enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone grill. Kitchen could be better stocked with basic utensils/gadgets and I will communicate it to the homeowner. Homeowner was very responsive. The slope down to the dock was steep with no steps and was a little difficult for my elderly mother to navigate but otherwise, we would stay here again. I would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful long weekend here! Four families shared the house. It was clean, well stocked, and the kids were in the water all day. The cove is safe and out of the main traffic run. The kids enjoyed using the kayaks and even caught a few little fish on the dock.
