Welcome to the SS Salamander, North unit at 121 50th Street in Holmes Beach. This recently updated two bedroom and one and one half bath unit is just a one block stroll down a side street to the beautiful white, sandy beaches. It's located in a quiet and preferred residential neighborhood yet it's easily within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. A great combination of tranquility and convenience!

This unit has just undergone many upgrades including new laminate flooring, new living room furniture and many new linens and dishes. It's now better than ever and ready for you to enjoy!

The SS Salamander has a beautiful 17' x 36' heated pool surrounded by beautiful landscaping and lots of comfortable pool furniture. This Holmes Beach vacation getaway also has a large covered deck which is a perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. There is charcoal grill and an outside shower for your use. A "shared" laundry room with a new full size washer and dryer is onsite for your use. The unit also features undercover, off street parking. The SS Salamander North unit features a 55" flat screen television in the living room. The main bedroom has a 14" television. This unit sleeps five with a queen size bed, a full bed, a twin bed. It can be rented in conjunction with the South unit next door for groups up to ten.

The spacious living area and kitchen make this a perfect spot for family reunions.

The SS Salamander is a one week minimum rental.

Parking is limited to two vehicles.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Love this location

Walk to the beach for sunsets, midway between Pine St AMI and Bradenton Beach. Easy walk or bike ride to entertainment and eating options, nice options in back yard (bbq, fire pit, pool, hammock). Have to say on shortcomings is arrived with barely any toilet paper or papertowels or garbage bags...I hate buying that stuff on vacation...otherwise great.

Incredible Location, Comfy House, Great Pool. Needs Some Updates

Reviewer Comments: I'll make this one easy for you:1) you'll be about a 30 second walk to the beach entrance. 2) the 2-bedroom house will sleep 4 wonderfully. I wouldn't want more than that.3) the balcony was a joy in the mornings and evenings.4) the pool (and in fact the whole back yard) is not done justice by the photos. It was great.5) The kitchen was ready to search for things, and be a little underwhelmed by what you find (not strange for a rental, but still). Little things like a comically bad toaster seem small...unless you need a toaster. The ice maker was a champion though.6) The laundry room is shared with your neighbor...may not be a big deal for you, but worth noting.7) The beach gear provided is pretty janky...bring your own if you can.8) Unless you're intending to spend a lot of time in the north side of the island, I don't think a golf cart rental is needed. The location is really good - close to bars, shops, ice cream, etc. ...and that's really it. If you have two families of four...I highly recommend renting both duplexes.
