Fantastic place to stay and a perfect getaway for a long weekend. We enjoyed every minute of it. House was fantastic and in a great location. Short trip to get to the beach, made ever quicker if you plan on renting a golf cart. Definitely on my list to stay at again when the time comes!

Memorial Day visit

The property was very clean and had a nice layout. We are a family of 6 and never felt crowded. The location was right in the middle with everything you might need within a short driving distance. We would definitely stay there again.

Waves of grace

The only thing that wasn’t accurate was there being tv’s in every bedroom. One of the 3 did not. Other than that it was perfect!

The check-in process was smooth and easy. However, once we arrived at the property, we immediately noticed that the entire downstairs area, including the grill, was extremely dirty and in unacceptable condition.The property does not provide linens, and unfortunately the pillows and mattress protector were visibly soiled and appeared to have urine stains. In addition, there were rat droppings present throughout the area, which was very concerning from a cleanliness and health standpoint.To make matters worse, the septic alarm went off during our stay. We notified the office immediately, but the issue was not addressed or resolved while we were there.Overall, the condition of the property did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards and significantly impacted our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Swede's changed our rental property 3 times the week of arrival. The house we ended up in was great (it could have used a bathroom downstairs) but it was such a hassle! I paid for the rental insurance and they acted like they did me a favor by offering a full refund if we didn't want to come. I will definitely confirm availability before renting online.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The interior of the property was very nice and met our needs. However the downstairs area was pretty bad. The grill was dirty, area around the grill was dirty, shower downstairs was dirty and had a large plastic kids toy in it. The downstairs area needs a foot wash. The water hose spray gun was broken. If the downstairs area was close to what the neighbors directly behind, that would be nice.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were not able to get to the cabin due to closed roads and no electricity from a storm. We did not purchase travel insurance, so they told us we would not get any of our money back. I understand if we CHOSE not to come because of a potential storm, but this was not our choice! The beach roads were closed and the entire beach is STILL without electricity. Doesn’t seem right to me. We will never rent through Swedes again.
