$Million dollar Pacific spectacular ocean view from our custom built home with Largest Waterslide Infinity Edge Pool in Uvita Area and less than 1/2 mile as the Toucan flies from the Ocean. 2025 NEW Improved Public Road,Privacy on our 13 acres with 35 foot waterfall and only 2.5 miles to shopping, restaurants and bank plus added security of caretaker on grounds (separate house near gate). Our 3,600 sf Kincaid design home has ocean views from every room including master suite shower. Home is surrounded by exotic gardens with over 500 tropical flowering plants and fruit trees. All furniture is custom made ,several wood carvings ,custom Italian Tile work throughout. Good wireless Internet.

This house was Kincaid designed to fit this most spectacular homesite which many say ( including internet provider) has the most incredible oceanviews to be found in all of Costa Rica. A car with 4x4 low is necessary to access all the properties in the international subdivision we are located in. Our house being the closest to Uvita by road.

Grounds and house are meticulously maintained by our gardener/maintenance man who works on property from 7AM -3PM. You can request total privacy.

It was an amazing trip. The pictures don't do the property justice and Del and Jeison were wonderful hosts. Loved being there, opening the four doors to the pool so the air could flow thru the entire house and just do our thing. The first trip up the mountain was intimidating but after the first time it was a piece of cake, even in dark and rain. Make sure you get a great 4x4 car... I ended up with a Toyota Land Cruiser (my request was a Prado) and it was a super impressive vehicle. We loved all the food we had (we went to Mystic Sushi 3 times!), the excursions we did (whale watching and waterfall tours), and the beaches were incredible... better than expected! Playa Hermosa was our go-to beach and it had amazing 6-14 ft waves the first day and the second day there were easily a few 18 foot waves... ones that as they are coming in you just begin laughing because you know it's going to just wipe you out! Amazing stay, highly recommended! Thanks again!

Amazing house! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay in. The house is amazing! Having five bedrooms really makes it convenient for a bigger family to avoid trying to figure out who’s rooming with who.The property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, and the pool was perfect and great for cooling off or having family time in the evening with the large table next to the pool.

Beautiful house and property with cool breezes all day and night! We loved this house and our week in Uvita. It's got everything you need, and if you stumble upon anything you don't have the caretaker that lives a few minutes away will have it there in second. We felt very safe, and loved all the birds and wildlife. We even had a sloth hanging in a tree right by the pool. We became experts on driving the road and did so many wonderful things that Del recommended. Our highlight was probably the mangrove kayak tour.

Amazing location.

House and pool were amazing. Views spectacular as was the location. Make sure you do have a 44 vehicle. We did not and the all wheel drive barely made it up the mountain.

We have the best views in Uvita. The seclusion of 13 1/2 acres and the primary jungle provide a dramatic backdrop for extensive birdwatching and wildlife. All of Costa Rica is mountainous and a 4 x 4 is required. To reach our house. We rent two turbo diesel 4 x 4’s, which make it a breeze to get there. We hope you come back soon.

Great Place

The house is a little tough to get to but it's worth it. Wonderful views with a great pool. Lots of privacy with assistance nearby if you need it. With 3 bedrooms it is perfect for a family stay.

road was a little rough but was graded after a few days so 4 wheel is needed ..some steep inclines but remember you are at a higher elevation the drive is worth it .....Dell the owner was a great help has a 4 wheel drive at the property for rent.. also can make arrangements to pick your party at san jose airport and trans back too..he is worth talking with as he is very helpfull any plans you may have....

Wonderful!

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Del's place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen well stocked for anyone wishing to prepare meals. The view of the Whale Tail from the second floor master bedroom is spectacular and Adrian the care taker is so helpful. The drive up the mountain as others have mentioned is interesting but definitely worth it! Will definitely stay again next time in the Uvita area!

We loved our stay in Uvita! Kids got plenty of use from the water slide. Perfect views and wonderful onsite property manager. *Master suite is upstairs and is the only room with air conditioning.

This was our fifth trip to the same area in Costa Rica. Access to this property was a bit of a challenge with our four wheel drive rental, but a very comfortable home with a nice ocean view. The caretakers on the property were awesome people and very helpful. Looking forward to our visit next year!

Awesome view and amazing pool!

The location of this house is simply amazing. We woke our first morning to a barrel of monkeys in the trees outside our bedroom windows. The view down the mountain is even better when viewed from floating in the infinity pool. Thank you Del, for sharing your home with us.

Thank you for staying with us at Del Congos de Uvita. Based on your story, I guess we named the house correctly. Congos are the Holler Monkeys. I'm sure you also heard and saw the many Toucans and Cusingas that frequent our property mainly because unlike many other homes we are on a large parcel surrounded by primary Jungle. If I were a bird or Monkey I would choose Del Congos de Uvita my favorite place to hang out! I trust you also enjoyed it when Alex (our caretaker) and Estephany (maid) gave you Organic fruit, vegetables and flowers from our gardens. I hope that you return to visit again.

You found it! Just book it! Everything was amazing! The view down is as good as the listing says. The pool and back patio area are perfect for relaxing while at the house. Uvita and Dominical are nice small towns with great grocery stores. The national park service beaches in Uvita are great natural beaches. The host was very helpful and offered anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!!

Puntarenas Paradise

Absolutely amazing stay at Del Congos. Del, Patty and our host Adrian were treasures in so many ways. We have never been better accommodated. Adrian speaks beautiful English and was a wealth of information and a perfect Tico ambassador. The property is stunning. Comfortable, huge kitchen, bedrooms were thoughtfully designed to maximize air flow and comfort during the night.The pool with the slide and view of the famous "Whale's Tail" was incredible.Del and Patty arrived mid-week to start a stay at one of their adjacent properties. They were wonderful, warm, friendly and another great local resource. Del even helped me find a fairly large quantity of my favourite coffee from a local plantation. Del was absolutely amazing. Prior to leaving the US he spent countless calls with us arranging the actuvities we would do while at his property. The fishing guide was PERFECT. The property alone was perfection but arriving to a delicious home cooked meal was out of this world service!! The caretaker Alicia was so wonderful and sweet! I cant recommend this place enough! Great views and privacy in the jungle !

We had a great time with our family of 4 in this fantastic home. Home is private, had great views and is well equipped. Del rented us his vehicle which saves time at the airport and was very capable for the road adventure of ascending and descending the mountain. Del also arranged a round trip transportation to and from the airport in San Jose which was convenient. The driver (Gilbert) was very personable and stopped at points that were safe and had facilities for us. We had a great trip and are looking forward to returning!

Ideal Costa Rican Villa

The grounds are expertly maintained while the house is clean and organized, comfortably housing 7 adults. The views are utterly breath-taking - the infinity pool is especially luxurious and provides the perfect vantage point for viewing the whale tail beach. We had the perfect amount of seclusion and we could easily access many stores, restaurants, and activities. We also rented the vehicle available with the villa which turned out to be the best idea - highly recommended. Del is such a valuable resource on all things Costa Rica and the caretakers who live next door to the villa are so attentive, polite, and welcoming. Thank you for our unforgettable stay! We recommend everyone to stay here!

Great Uvita vacation

Del the owner made everything easy from start to finish. Communication was timely and renting his 4x4 was great, as it is definitely necessary to get around. He even made tour reservations for us at our request ahead of our trip! From zip lining, to Corcovado, to Nuyaca Waterfall all tours were outstanding. Everything about the house was first rate, from the million dollar view of the whale’s tail, to the beautiful pool. Best of all, Alex and Estafani catered to our every need, from daily laundry and cleaning to cooking us 2 wonderful Costa Rican dinners. All together a wonderful stay. Pura Vida!

What a View!

We were a group of three adult females visiting Costa Rica for the first time. The house, property and pool are beautiful. I highly suggest allowing Del to schedule your transportation and excursions. All were flawless. The transportation to and from the airport was worth every penny. Don't be intimidated by the driveway. We rented the car from Del and once Adrian showed us how to navigate the driveway, it was no problem at all, even in the rain and dark. We saw lots of birds, had daily visits from agouti and coatimundi that we enjoyed watching.

Why they chose this property

In 2000 a friend recommended that we visit the Uvita Costa Rica area. We fell in love with the area and bought land in 2002. It is the only area on the Pacific Coast where the mountains come right down to the ocean making it the most dramatic landscape. Uvita area has the following amenities: National Park with Whale Watching,200-500ft waterfalls,Best Deep-sea fishing in World,Most eco-diversity in World, Many Americans who live there. I call it the 'Naples of Costa Rica' and many have chosen it as Home because they many say " there is powerful energy forces in this area"
