This was the 2nd time I stayed at the property, and I was pleasently surprised by the small upgrades made in the short time between my stays.
The hosts breakfast's were wonderful, and the location is very quite with a good view, and easy access to the islands walking path.
I would not hesitate to stay here again if I am working in the area.
The authentic food and unique experience was amazing. Would gladly stay here again. Keep in mind it is cozy 7 quaint and lots of stuff or large people will struggle with the wiggle room but if that doesn't scare you, everything else is special. The breakfasts were divine and made us feel like we were fine dining. Loved all the extra touches provided.
Beautiful property overlooking the Niagara River. Beautiful Asian breakfasts we could eat outside while having a view of that river. But most of all a beautiful person as our host, Jie, who fulfilled all our requests and met all our needs and more. She gives excellent restaurant recommendations too, Dick and Jenny’s, and Say Cheese, were fantastic. Overall a wonderful stay and experience.
Highly recommended! A wonderful property and host. Quiet, tranquil, and beautiful location. Clean space very nicely decorated.
The bonus? The host prepares an AMAZING Asian breakfast each morning. You'll come for the location and comeback for the dim sum.
I was looking for a quite property close to where I was working, I was surprised by all the walking, Hiking, biking opportunities. The area is quite and just off the loop trail for walking or biking. I was able to get my dog fix in by petting some of the many dogs that are walked along the path.
The property said there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. They cooked us breakfast but it was eggs and dry bread with some sort of weird jam. but just left the food out the door so we never really got to eat the food fresh. View was cool. The bed was terrible and the pillows to choose from were horrible
I am a Grand Island native who moved away over 30 years ago. My family still lives here and I visit from CA with my kids every summer. Due to last minute changes in accommodations, I was left in search of a place for me to spend the nights for the first week of our stay while my kids stayed with the grandparents. Thankfully, I came across this amazing bed and breakfast only a few miles from my parents' place. Just... incredible.
The location is amazing. The property is right on the Niagara river and the view every morning is delightful. It is next to a recently renovated bike path that is close enough to Beaver Island State Park to walk there and back in the morning - about 1.5 miles to the official park entrance. I did this walk almost every morning and regularly saw deer out having their breakfast.
Speaking of breakfast, wow!! Every morning was something new. The host asks if you prefer a traditional Asian-style breakfast or a Western breakfast. Of course, I had to go with the Asian style option and am so glad I did. She prepares traditional rice porridge (congee/zhou) and pairs it with a variety of other wonderful dishes, including bao, gyoza, salmon, noodles with scallions and sauce, fresh veggies, scrambled eggs with Asian inspired flavors. Delicious!
The host is so sweet and was very responsive to any questions I had. The room is very well appointed. I encourage anyone looking for a lovely and quiet location in the area to stay here. Cannot recommend highly enough!
