About this property

Old Mystic home 2 mi to center, with fenced in yard

The Breezy Knoll House is a cozy ranch home in Old Mystic CT. This beautiful home is located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood 2 miles from downtown. There is so much to explore in Mystic including the Seaport, aquarium, downtown Mystic know for its shops and dining, and so much more! It’s a short 15 minute drive to local beaches or 25 minutes to Misquamicut.

This is the ideal place for families or group of friends. We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. Pets must be vaccinated and current with flea and tick prevention. Dogs must be crated if left unattended for any period of time. Please reach out before reserving if you wish to travel with your dog.

There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests who prefer to dine in. There are three bedrooms on the main level with one full bath. The finished basement boasts an additional bedroom, a second living room, and a laundry area.

Guests will have access to the entire home including fenced in garden.

Other things to note:
Only the guests listed on your reservation are allowed on the property unless discussed in advance. Our maximum capacity is 7 including children.

We welcome families traveling with children. Please be aware that our home is not child proof. Child locks, gates, cribs, monitors etc. will not be provided.

Four vehicles are allowed in the driveway. Guests are not permitted to park on the street.

We have a strict noise policy. Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am. Disturbances to our neighborhood will not be tolerated.

Great Vacation!

This was our first trip to Mystic and Breezy Knoll was a great homebase for visiting the area. The location is convenient to the town and all points east and west. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We spent quite a bit of time in the screen house, and we (and our dog) really enjoyed the beautiful backyard and gardens. We highly recommend this property - thank you Mara & Ross!

Perfect Retreat

This was a beautiful and welcoming property to stay in for my spouse, two dogs, and I. Everything was beautiful and updated, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms and common areas were cozy, and our dogs loved having space to play in the grassy secure yards. Bridal shower weekend

This was a great house to stay at. Plenty of room and had everything you needed. It was nice to see how dog friendly it was even though we didn't bring a dog with us. Only challenging thing was getting four adult women ready for a bridal shower with only 1 bathroom, LOL. We made it work though. I would book this place again!

Beautiful home with great personal touches

Our stay in Groton was wonderful! The property was very clean and our hosts have thought of all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and conversation on the spacious screened in porch. We were close to the beaches as well as Mystic shopping and restaurants.

Had a great stay for 3 nights with my husband and our 4 kids (ages 1 to 10). The house was very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for all of us, kitchen was well equipped and even had lots of spices and coffee available. The yard and grill were great and the location was perfect with it being a quick drive to everything in Mystic. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Had a great stay in Mystic. House is in a quiet neighborhood and within 10 min drive of the village. The house could use some minor upgrades - such as better quality seating options in living room and more towel hooks for the single bathroom - to be more comfortable. Overall, we had a nice stay and owner was accommodating. Neighborhood did not feel super welcoming to short term renters … it seemed to be almost all residential.

Moms Weekend

We had a fabulous Moms weekend away. There were four of us that snuck away for the weekend and this was the perfect house for us. It was comfortable and clean for us to hang out in the morning, close to everything to visit during the day, and the perfect spot to retreat to in the evening. The house was everything we wanted, comfortable, spacious, clean, inviting. Would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arose!

Perfect Dog-friendly Getaway Home

We had a wonderful stay in Mystic! The home was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with dog bowls, biscuits, and even a guide with dog-friendly recommendations — it really made our trip easier and more enjoyable. The backyard was a highlight — fully fenced with a screened-in area so we could enjoy the outdoors even on misty or hot days. Our dogs loved exploring, and one even hid under the bed when it was time to leave because they didn’t want to go home! The place was spotless; if other dogs had stayed before us, you wouldn’t have known because everything smelled fresh and recently cleaned. The location was great, just a quick drive to downtown, the seaport, and other Mystic attractions. Communication with the owner was kind and informative without being intrusive. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Host and Home for a Long Stay

Mara is an excellent host, friendly and helpful, while also respecting our privacy. She provided a home that was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our month long stay. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with knives, dishes, utensils, pots, pans and even Tupperware for leftovers. There was also plenty of space to store our groceries. Our favorite room was the screened in patio, we spent hours out there sipping tea, eating snacks just relaxing and listening to the birds, or the rain. It was the perfect place to enjoy a hot drink on a cool rainy day. The house itself was in a very quiet neighborhood. It was convenient to beaches and other attractions in Niantic, Groton, Mystic and Stonington. Given the opportunity, we would absolutely stay in this home, or any other home that Mara manages.
