Saddle creek rd. 7 minutes up, definitely 4 wheel unless you live in area. Gorgeous property lots of room for 18 people. Walking, fishing, talking, cooking, games and time around impressive fireplace in great room. Afterwards large rooms for sleep with each having its own bathroom. I would recommend this for anyone country experience. My granddaughter and her boyfriend from Florida were extremely impressed and wanted to move to rural Virginia after seeing and experiencing the outdoors here. We loved it!!!

So glad you had a great time, please come back at anytime!
Do Not Recommend to book this place! We reserved our stay on New Years Eve of 2025 for 3 nights. When we were on our way there, the day of our check in, we got a call from the manager of the property and said we cannot stay there because they double booked the property and someone was already there. They tried to blame VRBO for this, but its a lie, they advertise on 2 different platforms and booked 2 families without letting us know.Dishonest people, will not recommend this to anyone.
The house was hot all weekend, one of the two bedroom Air Conditioners was not working properly and a third, new, Air Conditioner was being installed but also did not work.
The yard & gardens are all overgrown such that we could not enjoy them. The yard around the house had not been mowed, and the firepit was unusable due to overgrown weeds.
The house was clean, and the management company was responsive.

A couple of these comments are valid. The others are not. The garden is private and the gate to it is locked. It even has a new trespassing sign on the front. This guest only paid for two nights, and we ended up refunding half of her money as a courtesy. They did take full advantage of using the kayaks, inner tubes, bicycles, etc. that most places don’t provide. They even used a motorcycle that was not authorized to be used nor asked. The air conditioning malfunctioning on one level of the house was immediately remedied with a technician. We asked a favor to go to the house and repair which he did. We even installed a window unit in the master bedroom has extra cooling . I’m sorry this guest was dissatisfied and strive to make things better in the future. Thank you.
This property was perfect for our party of 14. We had 8 adults and 6 kids from age 17 to 7. The house was very accommodating with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms & space to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities. The decor of the house is very interesting and lends to its uniqueness. Each bedroom/bathroom had plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious and has plenty of pots/pans/supplies to cook. The surroundings outside were beautiful and fun to explore. We hiked and hung out around the pond to observe & appreciate the beauty of the property. As stated in the property description, the trek up to the house was a bit rough, but we lucked out with weather and did not have too much trouble. However, a four-wheel drive is recommended if rented during snowy seasons. Thank you!
