About this property

Keep it simple and peaceful at this newly renovated cottage on a canal that leads to the Little Lagoon. Your family will be close to everything. The property is located just 2 blocks from public beach access, and 4 blocks from the Hangout, and is in walking distance to popular shopping spots and restaurants.

The space:
This is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit, w/open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and smart TVs in every bedroom.

There is a spacious, private outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Relax on the covered front porch while you enjoy your morning coffee and soak in the vitamin D in the afternoon on the very large sun deck. Directly behind the house is a canal that attracts pelicans, herons, and osprey hunting for fish in the early morning. The canal also provides hours of fun fishing, crabbing, and Kayaking.

Guest access:
Underneath the house is a storage area with a sign that reads Sandpiper 2. In this storage area are 2 Kayaks, a Corn Hole game, beach toys, chairs, and a wagon for your enjoyment. Please return all items to the shed when you are finished using them.

***Please note*** we own the house next door. Guest staying there will have access to a separate storage area located under your house. Those guests are only authorized to access the storage shed labeled Sandpiper 1, and have strict instructions to NOT use your outdoor shower or loiter at your lower level seating and picnic area.

Other things to note:
* House is equipped with Yale Smart Lock. To unlock: Press Yale logo, enter code provided and press check mark. To lock: Press Yale logo.

* No smoking or vaping in the house or on the deck. A smoking area with picnic table is provided under the house. Please place cigarette butts in the sand bucket. There will be an additional $150 cleaning fee for smoking inside the house.

* No parties or large gatherings.

*Exterior security cameras are in place

* Minimum age to rent is 25 yrs. Guests under the age of 25 are to be accompanied by a guest 25 yrs or older.

* There is space for 3 vehicles to park at the house.

* !!! IMPORTANT !!! Clearance for parking under the deck is 6 feet/7 inches. DO NOT park a full size Truck or SUV under the house.

* The house is accessible via a flight of stairs. There is no elevator, so this house is not handicap accessible.

Amazing!

This was my first time renting a property like this. The process was so smooth and JT did such a great job of keeping communication. The house was insanely clean and the location of this property was spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. No complaints at all.

Great property!

Lovely property! Perfect location with short walk to beach, restaurants, and shops. The whole home was nicely updated, clean, and very comfortable. Love that there was a wagon and kayaks for our use. Would absolutely recommend staying here and will stay here again if we’re back in Gulf Shores!

PIECE & QUIET

This place is very peaceful and quiet. Very clean and cozy. Drive large enough to park a 26ft boat trailer. No traffic at all on this street. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and a little ice cream shop. We will come back soon

Perfect location, Everything was brand new!

This house was absolutely amazing. Everything was brand new and spotless. The beach was right across the street so it's in a perfect location. Loved the lounge chairs on deck out front, great way to catch some sun and just unwind. Neighbors are wonderful, street was quiet, it was just a perfect trip all the way around. Thank you JT!!

Why they chose this property

We've owned this property since 2005 . Our 3 children have been raised coming to this property as their summer vacation home. We have enjoyed sharing this property with other family and friends over the years so they could make their own memories. We recently decided to make it available to others through the short term rental market. So we did a complete renovation, including new floors, fresh paint, and sparkling new baths and kitchen. It is fresh, clean and ready to be enjoyed.

What makes this property unique

What initially attracted us to this house is the big yard and quiet street. We felt we could let our kids ride their bikes and play in the yard without fear of them getting lost on the beach, but please keep an eye on your tiniest ones, as there is nothing to prevent access to the canal.
Also, we love the location. We are so close to everything. The beach, yummy restaurants, an ice cream shop, and a gift shop are all with in short walking distance.
