Enjoy your morning coffee and glorious sunrise views over Mille Lacs Lake from the front deck! View the lake year-round from the dining room or through the large picture window in the living room. In the summer spend your days on the lake fishing (minutes to the public boat launch) and your evenings relaxing around the firepit or playing games at the large dining table.

A great cabin for a family trip or a long weekend with friends! The dining table is large and has ample seating for crafting, gaming, or eating.

Explore everything that summer 'up north' offers by dining at local supper clubs, hiking Kathio State Park (lovely during fall colors), and Cayuna bike trails. Enjoy winter sports like ice-fishing and nearby snowmobile trails and come home to a large eat-in kitchen where you can make a pot of chili and watch TV or play board games. Pet friendly!
Our guests have access to the garage for storing bikes, the driveway has plenty of space for a truck and trailer.

Sunrise Cabin Mille Lacs

Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of firewood out back for fires..nice having laundry at cabin. AC not adequate on hot days, beach access not very convenient from property. Overall, it was a nice stay.

We live in St. Paul, MN. We are close to becoming empty nesters and I wanted to move into the hospitality industry now that I am not raising kids. We LOVE Minnesota and have over the last two years experienced lake life at our property on Elm Island Lake. (Reach out if you are interested in staying there.)

As we've spent more time 'up north' we've grown to love how locals and visitors alike embrace everything this area has to offer. There is nothing like the beauty and fun of 'lake life' in the area. There are so many things to do year-round!

What makes this property unique

Sunrise Cabin is on Mille Lacs Lake, a world-class fishing lake. You can enjoy the lake in summer and winter. We are also just minutes from Grand Casino Mille Lacs, minutes from public boat access, and in the winter a 3-minute drive to Twin Pines where you can enjoy food during peak seasons (summer and winter) and get your ice house out on the lake, using their ice road (for a small fee).
