Excelente departamento

Nice apartment with good location

The appartment offers a convenient stay for two couples. There are two bedrooms and two bathroom, still if one of them is small. Maid service every day makes you feel good. The pool area is fantastic in daytime but also in the evenings. The kitchen has a good oven and a microwave. Unfortunately there are no suitable cockware/plates if you want to use them. The appartment is on walking distance to beaches (20 minutes), restaurants at the port (30 minutes) and Punta Shopping Mall (5 minutes max). There are many restaurants closer as well. Still a car is convenient. We would have appreciated if the property owner had agreed upon to make a rental agreement including conditions about linen change, towel change, what to expect from maid service, payment details etc.

The property was exactly what was in the add. Javier, the owner, assisted very kindly and promptly to all the requests made. The location of the building is excelent, near to restaurants, supermarket, mall, beach and a lovely neighbourhood just across the street. Thanks Javier for helping to make our visit to Punta such a remarkable experience!!

New York family

The apt as well as the building was great. Top class concierge and pool area with nice lunch choices. When it was too hot by the pool we went to the beach, and when too windy at the beach we stayed by the pool. A/C worked well and balcony was a pleasure. Would highly recommend.

Why they chose this property

While being Argentinean it was my child's dream to visit Punta del Este!!! Now living in New York City I am always thinking of South America not only as my childhood memories, but also as my favorite destination for winter retreat. My friend is from Uruguay and at the time she suggested to buy this beautiful two bedroom apartment at Yoo Punta del Este Building designed by Philippe Stark. Knowing that Punta frequently called St. Tropez of South America and having famous designer aboard we knew that we can't go wrong. It has an international mix of cultures, art galleries, concerts, fashion shows and miles of white sand beaches. As a holiday resort the area caters to a high standard of traveler with many upscale boutiques and world class restaurants at the South American prices. You will spend your days on the beach with a good book, then will venture late, late at night as the locals do to sample the wines of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay along with the world renown beef of the area. Clubs stay open until dawn and then it's back to the beach. The life style is like no other and a welcome relief from North American and European winters.
New Year in Punta del Este is the best celebration in the World!
