Just across the street sits Willow Park along the Kalamazoo River, offering a peaceful waterfront space ideal for morning coffee, quiet sunsets, or simply watching boats drift by. The water is always close, adding a relaxed coastal feel to your stay. A short stroll brings you to the historic Chain Ferry, where you can cross the river to access Oval Beach, Mt. Baldhead, scenic hiking trails, and other local attractions.
Inside, Park Side features an open-concept layout with a bright and comfortable great room designed for relaxing after a day of exploring. The living area includes a flat-screen smart TV, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa sleeper, providing additional flexibility for sleeping or lounging.
The kitchen is thoughtfully designed and well equipped, featuring generous counter space, snack bar seating for two, a full-size refrigerator, and a compact dishwasher—perfect for easy breakfasts, quick lunches, or casual meals at home. The dining area includes a round table that comfortably seats four.
The queen bedroom is spacious and welcoming, filled with natural light and equipped with a window air-conditioning unit in the summer for warm afternoons. The full bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, ideal for unwinding at the end of the day.
Just out the door, Park Side has a private patio table with seating for outdoor meals. Adjacent to the outdoor dining area, the shared patio offers additional outdoor seating, a gas BBQ grill, and a communal fire pit—perfect for relaxing evenings after a day at the beach or in town.

Please Note - This suite is one of three total units in the same building. Shared spaces and amenities between the neighboring units are the BBQ grill, the fire pit, and the furniture around the fire pit. Each unit has its own set of patio furniture for guest use; Park Side's patio furniture is located just outside the door. Please be respectful of other guests staying in the neighboring units by adhering to the quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. - Park Side is on the main level. There are no steps to get inside. The doorways are slightly narrower than average. - There is no central AC. There is a window AC unit in the apartment during the summer months. Additionally, there is a box fan. If you keep the blinds closed and the bedroom door open, the whole apartment will be cool. - The building heat is kept at 68 degrees in the winter months. If you need additional heat or heat during the summer, there is a baseboard electric heater in the bedroom.

Wonderful little place for a weekend getaway with my hubby! Walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Has everything you need and is decorated very nice.
This location is great! It is right off Water Street, and is within walking distance of all things Saugatuck! The outdoor space was nice and comfortable, and it was great to not have to look for parking downtown.
Property was as described and in a great location. Walking distance to all Saugatuck has to offer. Clean and great communication with the property manager. Bonus was a comfortable bed and awesome water pressure! Would definitely rent again!
This was a great place to stay for the week! It was a little tight for our family of four, but we loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops in town. The place provided kitchen supplies and toiletries to get us started. It was clean and cute! Highly recommend!
Could hear everything that went on upstairs. Nice to have off road parking

Thank you for staying with us at Park Side! We’re glad to hear the apartment was clean and worked well for your family wedding weekend. We do prepare each property the day of arrival, including knocking down webs and blowing off outdoor spaces, though with nature it’s common for webs to return quickly.
Regarding temperature, the listing notes there is no central A/C; instead, the apartment has a window A/C unit in the bedroom during summer months, a fan for the living room, and supplemental heat in the bedroom if needed. The building heat is maintained at 68 degrees in the winter months. We’re always happy to walk guests through how to use the temperature controls during their stay.

This property had everything you needed and was just as listed. The check in process was easy and the property managing company was friendly and responsive. The water is just across the street and downtown was just a few blocks walk. You won't be disappointed!
Awesome location, well supplied unit. Iy issue is the fold out sofa bed. It is very uncomfortable and after the first night we just slept in it as a couch. It definitely should be replaced. Other than that, everything was great!!!

Needs a renovation and new air conditioner. Badly.
The place was very clean. Comfortable bed. There is a semi loud extra air unit in the bedroom incase it gets too warm, even with the place being air conditioned, so it was very pleasant during a heat wave. The location cannot be beat. So worth it to not worry about a parking spot and be able to walk around.There was excellent communication from the office. I appreciated that. There is a coffee pot but no coffee so bring grounds from home. There is a second floor you can hear.
We didn’t have to drive anywhere during our stay because everything was within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable however the window AC was very noisy the first night. The next day we turned the dial so it wasn’t as cold and that took care of the noise. The apartment is in the perfect area and there are only 3 apartments in the building. There is also a designated parking spot for each apartment right in front. Very easy to contact management and they are very friendly. We stayed in the larger apartment downstairs and the two smaller ones are upstairs.

Property was tired and smelled like mold
The Property was tired, smelled like mold and the shower was clogged so they had to come and unclog the hairy drain. They did fix the drain but only offered air fresheners to help with the smell. This property needs to be completely remodeled.. For the price it's definitely not worth the money.
We were very pleased with the property. Pics are exactly what the property looks like. The river is right across the street and there is a paperboard that takes you on a 90 min. cruise. Holland is only a short drive and there are ample places to go close to Saugatuck. The only problem is parking. There are a couple of restaurants right by the property and parking is difficult. There is designated parking for the property but there are two other units as well. We were there during the Tulip Festival and it wasn’t overly busy but during the summer I’m sure parking is not good. The area was beautiful and we would DEFINITELY stay here again!! Also Damon with the property owner was GREAT about things to do in the area and if we had any questions.
