Last minute mid afternoon decided we needed hot tub therapy. Contacted this property and Ryan was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. By early evening we were settled in and soaking. The view is fantastic, the deck overlooking and hot tub were amazing. And the place was exactly what we needed. And to top it off, we could take our fur babies. I can't say enough about how quick, responsive and helpful Ryan was. Can't wait to stay again.. and we definitely will!
Great place with tons of amenities and a great host who was always ready for any issues that could come up 100% would stay again

This was a very ice location, however the cabin has not been maintained.
The cabin is in a beautiful setting next to a pond surrounded by woods.

Comfortable
Cabin was clean. Heat worked well. Kids loved the hot tub and canoe rides.
Seems like previous maintenance complaints were taken care of. But we did notice one of the spindles along the loft railing was loose. Needs fixed. Safety issue.
Other than that , our stay was pleasant!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
While the cabin was clean and the host responsive, we were surprised by the state of disrepair it was in, i feel the listing and photos of properties were misleading. The bathroom while usable was not in great shape, there was a spot on floor where the floorboards were soft in front of tub. The doorjam was broke so we couldn't lock the bathroom door. The was no switchplate cover on light switch in bathroom, one of the bedroom doors could not be locked do to it being broke. The sliding doors were very hard to open. The walkway to the pond/fire ring was dilapidated. It was very unsturdy with some broken boards with overgrown weeds in areas. The bathroom door and one bedroom door were both very scratched/chewed at bottoms. Definitely not thw kind of place im accustomed to in Hocking Hills. Also i could not get out of the driveway, i have a small hybrid SUV, my friends had to push me out then i had to leave my car at the top of hill by some dumpster do to them using large gravel and sand/dirt on a steep driveway. 4wheel drive should be recommended in listing. If i hadnt been looking forward to this getaway as much as i had, i probably would have left and stayed somewhere else.

Probable won't return this time
This was our second time here. The central AC does not work. The window air conditioners do work but it takes awhile. The bed in the first bedroom was so hard! It almost felt like a box spring and not a mattress. We were disappointed that there were no canoes. Not sure why they weren't there. Overall it could be cleaner. It smelled as if there were dogs staying there. The cabin and hot tub are nice. Fishing was great.
