The Joyce House is a great property to have a little seclusion and is close enough to Benton Harbor/St. Joseph/Stevensville for shopping and restaurants. There are some beaches nearby as well. We had a very nice time staying there for Memorial Day weekend.

We came for a weekend wedding and had to bring the family dog because all of our usual dog sitters were going to the wedding. It was a clean house and perfect for what we needed it for.

Nice Location

We enjoyed our stay, and the host responded to our concerns. It was a quick drive to the beach, and the house was on a quiet street.

Was a great house for staying at for my daughter’s wedding in town. Very close to beaches and downtown. Very accommodating for pets. Host was somewhat tricky to get in touch with before our stay with questions we had, but everything in the house was well stocked and rules for house and handouts in things in the area were really helpful. Definitely would stay again

Nice and Quiet

Our stay was enjoyable and quiet. The house is definitely geared toward children which worked out great. All of the cousins shared a room, bringing some much needed peace for the parents. I would recommend this home for families wanting to stay somewhere quiet and out of the way, but still close to the beach and other activities in town.

Quiet neighborhood and easy access to beaches.

Comfortable house, easy access to beaches, house was roomy with a large kitchen. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. Overall a great location. Very close to St. Joe. We liked being able to park our car in the garage.

The house is so much more beautiful in person. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen & bathrooms are fully stocked with everything that you need. The house is very welcoming to small children and pets. I had great communication with the host Mollie. We would definitely stay at Joyce House again!

Perfect for what we needed!

The Joyce House was the perfect find for us! It was a 4 minute drive from Stonegate Manor which is where we had a wedding to attend. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The firepit was a wonderful surprise to hang out around on a beautiful fall night. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

Except for the overgrown grass, the house was fabulous. It was roomy, comfortable, and decorated to be welcoming & homey. Relaxing from the moment you entered

I feel this is one of the better properties we have stayed in. The air conditioning worked great which has been a problem in another one we stayed. The check in was good with the welcome package. The house was clean And had everything we needed in the kitchen. The master bedroom we stayed in had a comfortable bed, as we are getting older that’s a plus for us. Overall we enjoyed the house and the area. Would recommend.

More comfortable than expected

Great house, lots of room for 2 families! Very well organized, clean and comfortable. The living room could have used a more comfortable couch but we didn't spend much time indoors anyway.

Quiet cul de sac

Cute home perfect for a few nights with a couple of kids and pets. It was nice to have extra towels and blankets available for use! Nice and quiet cul de sac that is along the woods. No fenced in yard, but the dogs enjoyed the extra scents!

We appreciating having a space that two families could share with multiple small children. I sent the host a message directly about all of these issues but I did not hear back. There are quite a few things that I would consider hazards in the garage and out in the yard. One of which being a battery hand saw laying on the yard with the tool shed open. Multiple pieces of drywall laying around in the garage that could fall over. The fridge and freezer was not very clean. There was wet towels in the washing machine, but we didn't notice until the second day since we didn't need to use the machine on day one. Outside of house has lots of cobwebs and is unkept.

Perfect Girls Getaway

We had an amazing long weekend with my sister in laws for a husband and kid free weekend. It’s a perfect location just minutes from st joe and minutes away from many wineries. Mollie is so easy to communicate with and kept us up to date on everything. Bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and didn’t feel like we were cramped. Loved all the amenities for kiddos. We are keeping it in our list if we want to bring the family with us sometime!
