Real World MTV House-18 to 22 guests, Not Just a House Your Own Private Resort

Hi Denise Thanks for your stay, we really appreciate your visit. Your husband told me a couple of times how wonderful the trip was. Glad the weather cooperated. Lots of Guests come to the house because they are Real World Fans and want the house as authenic as possible. I think some play the parts when they are here. One of the now bedrooms was the Confessional Room in the series and some of hard core fans actually complaint to me about this UPGRADE. So we try and balance this! Thanks again and ALL THE BEST!

I am very sorry that this guest did not have a perfect stay. Unfortunately, this group was having a difficult vacation with a broken family boat, a sick family member, not perfect weather, and some general family discourse. She called me at 7 AM on a Sunday morning, needing tools to help with her broken boat repair. I immediately helped with a big smile. This was a constant theme during her stay. However, all of the points that Wendy mentioned will be immediately reviewed by OUR 3 full-time employee repair team and cleaning staff. All remedial care will be taken. This is the classic nightmare where a homeowner thru one of the internet rental sites rents his house to allegedly a small group to stay for a few days and it turns out instead to be rented to host a huge destructive party. I did not realize this until a few days before the arrival date when I received a message from one of the invitees, not the renter, asking if there was plenty of parking, as he understood there was going to be thirty cars at the house for a party. Either he was incredibly stupid or he thought that his friend that rented the house informed me of the large party. I immediately contacted the renter who “hemmed and hawed “ but eventually admitted that a huge party was planned. I informed her that this large party was not permitted. She then assured me that the party would be cancelled and her group would just go out to “Duval Street” (the local entertainment party area in key West) The day of the check in, I had to attend a milestone event for a dear friend a 2 hours drive up the keys, after the group checked in, my employee called me reporting something unusual that 12 people came in 12 separate cars loaded with lots of food and enough beer to fill the “swimming pool”. He also reported that when he left the property to go, he saw about 20 to 30 people standing outside a local convenience store near the house. The writing was clearly on the wall. I immediately turn around and rushed back to the house, it took 2 hours thou, the party was in full swing by then. I arrived and there were 20 people partying in front of the house , beer cans all over, others on the balcony and clearly noise of even more people in the house. When I identified myself, many party goers scattered and left immediately in cars. I asked to speak to the renter who never identified herself. She never came out. or called me despite mantyattempts to contact her. When I saw the group that was there were obviously many more than 16 people, they lied and acted like I could not count. I waited outside for 20 minutes and many groups left in vehicles giving me “dirty looks”. The renter never came out or identified herself. I decided to park up at the corner away from the house to see if the group would attempt to sneak back and many did until they saw my truck. I stayed noticeable visible for the rest of the rental period. When the group left the house, it was very dirty and smelly from some fish left in the trash and many things broken,

Thanks for your review. I don't know any place you can stay in Key West on a waterfront peninsula with 8 bedrooms (currently appraised at 25 million) for 2000ish a night,. The GUEST House is optional with 2 bedrooms ($500 per n) and is carefully explained in the listing.. A 9000 sq ft house, a tennis court, a large dock, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, gym equipment, 16 TVs, 3 waterfront decks, up to 10 bedrooms, private parking. wifi. BEST DEAL IN KW!!

Hope, thanks for your nice review! Unfortunately, not all Guests are as wonderful to deal with (and responsible) as Hope. Also, this is not your average VRBO rental, the property is valued at well over 25 million and has over10000 sq foot of living space, It has docks, kayaks, a tennis court, many devices, pools, and Jacuzzis, etc. Not a studio apartment in a city.. A few weeks ago a Guest "checked in" totally drunk and 1 hour later was on the roof attempting trying to "cannon ball" into the pool. This is Key West!!!
