The Amelia home is a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath retreat with sparkling private pool that is only four blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and one block from all the Duval Street entertainment. This is the Key West vacation rental you have been seeking, tucked away in one of the most interesting neighborhoods in the historic district of Old Town, an ideal location for walking and biking to all the attractions, yet quiet and tranquil making it feel worlds away.

Entering The Amelia Home you are greeted by an open floor plan with living room and dining area, bright colors and Key West décor complete the feel of being in the tropics while large glass doors open to the spacious outside area. Hardwood floors are throughout the first level living areas and pocket sliding glass doors lead to the dining loggia. Through additional sliding glass doors on the side of the home you will find a lush tropical garden that looks into the pergola style orchid house. A half bath is located on the first floor along with a sleeper sofa for extra guests.

This special home features a full beautiful kitchen complete with everything you need to create a your keys cuisine or gourmet meal. Upstairs are two full bedroom suites each with a private bath and ultra comfy bed to ensure a restful night sleep. One bedroom has a king beds and the other two twin beds that can convert to a king.

Custom crown moldings and built-in bookshelves are some of the many fine details that make this a special home. Furnishings include an eclectic international mix of plantation style and antiques, reflecting the diversity of Key West.

Key West is the place to visit the lively nightlife and relax in the historic charm, flamboyance, and conch-style architecture that early Bahamian settlers made famous. It embodies a clash of the past and the present, and every building (including this rental) in Key West reflects this eclectic ambiance!

- Any reservations 28 days or longer will require additional clean/cleans to be scheduled. Additional payment will be collected and the amount of cleans will depend on the length of your stay.
- All bookings 28 days or longer require a security deposit to be charged after booking.
- This home is on a monthly pest control schedule. The area of Key West is home to many insects such as termites, no-see-ums, and mosquitos. Pest control can not eliminate these insects during the swarming season. You may also encounter geckos, lizards, iguanas, frogs, and chickens during your stay in the area.
- Key West is a resort island where renovation of existing historic properties, new construction, and road repair sometimes occur without forewarning. AvantStay is not liable for any guest inconveniences caused due to construction in the area.
- Please note that if requested, the two twin beds can be converted into one king bed with bedding for a fee of $75. Please ensure you make this request at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note that max occupancy includes infants.
- Please be advised that documentation may be necessary for ESA/service animals to gain entry.

Pets:
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- We LOVE pets, however- Certain breeds typically have to have an additional owner or HOA approval. If your pet falls under any typical breed restrictions (breed, size, weight) please let us know so that we can confirm!

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Great place w/ private pool to enjoy Key West!
The house was perfect for 4 of us, the check-in gifts were a nice touch! The house was lovely, perfect location to walk to Duval St, restaurants, etc. The nearby Cuban coffee walk-up window has excellent coffee and bakery items that we walked to daily. We enjoyed not having to drive, we walked everywhere we went in KW from this location. The pool was warm, clean, & the light was working (switch on the LivRm wall) the only thing is the picture shows 3 pool side lounge chairs and there were only 2, just FYI. Only feedback I can suggest is replacing the king size mattress with a new one as this one was quite worn and not very supportive. Also, some extra blankets would be helpful as the bedding is nice, but on the thinner side. The windows let in a lot of light but this could be due to the shutters not being on (noticed them on the side of the house, possibly for repainting or repair)? so if you are a dark-room sleeper, suggest bringing an eye mask. Overall, we loved this home and if you want your own pool and to walk everywhere in Old Town, its perfect. Thank you for having us, we hope to return soon!

Great little place
We had an awesome time. Thanks for the check in goodies. Very close walking to everything Key West. The pool is amazing, centered in a lush palm atmosphere. The house and furnishing were like staying in a home not a rental. I have two critiques. First is that the house is need of a deep cleaning at some point. It was acceptable and I understand it’s a rental. Second, the pool area has lights in and about the palms and shrubs but none work. The pool interior pool light does not work also. Some minor pruning and some fresh mulch and I think all is good to go….. Again we enjoyed the place and will rent again when back in town .
