This property is rural for anyone needing a quiet getaway (I give the location 5 stars because that’s what I needed!) It’s only about 20 minutes from shopping centers and right down the road from a beautiful river. The place is huge and well maintained with everything you’d need to stay a few days. The host was quick to answer my questions and kind to work with.
Property was as described in listing. We stayed for a weekend while visiting our UMaine student. Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us.

Adequate for price
Property was in an ideal location, and fairly comfortable for the price. A bit buggy but that is to be expected in the summer. I wish the property manager was more responsive. I requested an extra night a week and a half in advance but never heard back from them. At least a "no" would have been nice. We also did not receive check-in instructions until 4 hours before check-in time, which isn't a huge deal but did make us a bit worried that they had forgot about us given their previous unresponsiveness.
Otherwise a good place to stay.

NOT COZY HOUSE ON RIVER
PROS-Beds are comfortable, plenty of space for a large family when property is ready for use. Pictures of the inside are fairly accurate. The owner was easy to get a hold of when we messaged/called.

CONS- We showed up to a mobile home with a bunch of stuff piled up next to it, we thought we had the wrong address because it looks like someone is currently living there. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the river, the trailer is NOT on the river. The title is very misleading and also explains why there wasn’t photos posted of the outside of the property. There was laundry in the dryer, a dirty pan in the stove, dishes in the dishwasher, used KCup in the coffee maker…The property was not ready for anyone to vacation at.
