About this property

Little Yellow House - Heart of Downtown Bozeman

Welcome to our cheerful, warm and cozy "little yellow house," located in the historical neighborhood of Cooper Park in the heart of Bozeman! Take in peaceful vibes from the surrounding nature and parks - all within a 5-minute walk to central downtown and a short drive to Bridger Bowl ski area, Hylite Canyon, the Madison River and many other outdoor recreation destinations.

Our house is located in the Cooper Park Historic District, which includes Colonial Revival, Bungalow/craftsman, and Queen Anne architecture. The streets are lined with trees and cute bungalows, most of which are pre-war built.

Our house comes equipped with a gas fireplace, a large living room with a pullout couch, kitchen, a large bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, a smaller bedroom with a full bed + a bunk on top, and a side room (or a parlor if you're old school ;) attached to the large bedroom. The side room can be utilized as a quiet work study, a cozy reading nook, a playroom or nursery. Our property is just one block from Bozeman's Main Street where the city's best restaurants, shops and venues can be found.

While you have the entire upper portion of the house to yourself, we have other guests staying in a downstairs basement unit. The upstairs and downstairs units are separated by a dead-bolted door and each unit has its own private entrance. Our yard is the only area shared by guests, and it's a great way to get to know your fellow travelers!

Guests will have access to the entire upper unit, one reserved parking spot and the front yard.

Please read our "house rules" below to get the best experience during your stay!

1) It's easily to track in snow, mud and dirt in Bozeman so we ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the house. We provide a basket of slippers in the shoe closet to keep your feet clean and warm!

2) No smoking on the property please! Guest often leave the windows open and the smoke can drift inside and makes the space smell like cigarettes. You can vape or smoke in the alleyway. Please dispose of your butts in the big garbage can next to the alley.

3) We require a $200, pet deposit fully refundable upon checkout assuming there are no damages. Please DO NOT let your pet up on the furniture. An additional $50 will be kept from the pet deposit as an extra cleaning fee if there is excessive pet hair found on the upholstery, linens, furniture or beds. We recommend putting a sheet over the couch if you think your pup might hop up on the couch while you’re away. It’s much easier for our cleaners to wash a sheet than it is clean dog hair off the couch!

4) PLEASE pick up your doggie's poop in the yard. We provide green eco-friendly poop bags inside the front entry way closet. Please place poop bags in the outside garbage can near the driveway (not inside the indoor trash cans).

5) We love our neighbors and want to keep them happy! Please keep noise levels down after 10 PM.

6) We charge a $50 “lock-out” fee if you lose the keys or accidentally break the key or the lock on the trailer door.

7) The fire pit is wonderful for small fires and for roasting hotdogs and ‘smores! NO BIG FIRES and please do not throw your trash in the fire. Montana has burn bans if there is wildfire danger. Please check the burn ban status on the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation website.

8) Accidents do happen, and we understand! If something breaks or gets damaged, please let us know. We are confident we can work out a solution! If the accident is not reported before checkout though, we’ll need to report it to Airbnb.
