Things to note:
-Fireplace is for looks only. It is NOT for use.
-Person making the reservation must be staying on property, unless given prior approval.
-While we do have some life jackets, it is recommended to bring your own to ensure a proper fit.
-Lake Hartwell is regulated by a dam so the water levels will vary. We are not responsible for the lake level.
-Guests are responsible for following as lake, fishing and boating regulations.
-A starter supply of supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels, is provided.
-There is absolutely no pets and no smoking in the house. If this rule is broken, you will be charged an extra $200 for deep cleaning of the house.
-The kayak, paddle board and lake toys are for the use of our guests as an added bonus. If they become unavailable or break, you would not be entitled to a refund.
-If any of the house rules are broken, you will be subject to removal without a refund for the remaining of the rental reservation.

The property was beautiful and the host was wonderful. However the neighborhood and the neighbors were horrible! First our fishing line was cut, we charged it to bad communication. The next day we leave our cooler and tackle next to a tree while out on the canoe, we come back and our stuff is on the side of the road next to the trash….. We really hope it wasn’t because we’re a biracial couple! We won’t be back

Thank you for your kind words about the property and our hospitality. We do want to clarify a few things for future guests reading this review. The fishing line was not cut because of who you are. We learned that the trout line had been tied to a neighbor’s private dock. Because the dock is private property, the neighbor likely removed the line. We understand that this may have felt frustrating, but it was a property-use issue, not a personal one. Regarding your cooler and tackle, those items had been left in front of another neighbor’s private dock. The neighbor moved them out of the way and placed them beside the carport near the house so they would be safe—not as an attempt to dispose of them. We are especially sorry that you came away feeling that race may have played a role. We can say with confidence that it was not an issue. In fact, the neighbor immediately next door to the property is also biracial, and our neighborhood is made up of people from different backgrounds. We always want our guests to have a wonderful experience, and we’re happy that you found the property beautiful and enjoyed having us as hosts. We simply hope this clarification helps provide some context about what happened during your stay.

Home was clean and lovely. The property is very relaxing and the setup was great for a weekend away. We would stay here again! One bedroom and one bathroom do not have doors which was a bit challenging for privacy, but we were able to work around.

If you enjoy lakefront stays, this place is for you... It's on high ground with a huge backyard down to the lake... This home has plenty of room for a small family to spread out.. We had a great time and will be re booking in the near future!!

To start, the host was very communicative. This home was so very clean and very well stocked. From dishes,pots and pans, all kitchen appliances to all bathroom necessities, books and some games for kids they had it all. Lawn was kept beautiful! We did not use water toys but there was plenty. The back porch was my favorite place! Loved sitting there looking at the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and had no issues with docking. Decor was beautiful. Back patio was spacious with brand new deck. We are already looking at staying here again! If I had 1 critique it would be the gutters are full and need cleaning.

Cute House on the Lake

We really enjoyed the house on the lake.. It is spacious and nicely decorated with lake decor. It feels like a welcoming home! We look forward to returning to this place the next time we’re in the Anderson, SC area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bobber Bungalow. It was comfy, cozy, very clean & great lake views. Very private cove & dock. Quiet & peaceful place. Lots of extra amenities.

Home on a cove with ample space and yard. Well stocked home and beautiful view. We took our family and had a great time. Only downside was internet was not working.

He grew up on Lake Hartwell and much of his family still live on the lake, so he is always willing to share a good fishing spot of place to explore. What makes this property unique

What sets our lake house apart is its expansive lot size and its level terrain. Nobody wants to have to lug kayaks up stairs from the lake! These are two very unique features for Lake Hartwell properties.
