Amazing Location

Our family absolutely loved this home, it was large and could accommodate our group. We spend most of the time outside around the fire pit, walking into town to explore or finding hiking trails to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. It had everything we needed and more. First afternoon we were there it rained, we had plenty of games to keep us busy or found a comfy couch or chair to sit around and talk. We will definitely keep this place on our list to visit again.

Worms in the water

The house is great for large groups and in a beautiful setting. However the house was quite dirty and many of the foods in the kitchen had expired in 2010. The water they provided for drinking had a live worm/parasite in it as well as black mold on the inside of the jug. Sadly we didn’t realize this until we had all been drinking it for a day. Also, if you do stay here, just know that the key box is at the back door of the house. We panicked for a minute when we couldn’t find it and there is no cell reception.

For future reference, there's 1 queen bedroom and across the main floor there is a separate bath with small corner shower downstairs. Master bedroom with queen and master bath (non-working tub), bedroom w/ queen and bedroom with daybed share a Jack & Jill bathroom with shower, 2 more queen bedrooms with game/family room and centrally located bath with shower all upstairs.We had a senior couple with us so I was happy there was at least one bedroom downstairs.Nobody missed not having internet or t.v.
