Honestly, It took too much time and effort to enjoy our stay
Checking- lockbox did not work. 8 guests had to use 1 gate opener to get in and out of the premises for 3 days.
Amenities lacking- linens, travel crib, dinnerware, utensils ( for entertaining 10 people) and broken iron boards.
Rooms- uncomfortable hot or cold. Adjusting the temperature was very challenging even for the “site manager”.
Location- too noisy on weekends for a good night rest.
We did not have our planned family dinner on Saturday because there was no instructions/ manuals on how to use the stovetop.
The host did not know how to, but dismissively suggested YouTube videos.
We downloaded the manual and learned how to use the stovetop. Then took time out of our planned sunday event and taught the site manager how to use it!!
We also determined that some of the pots in the kitchen didn’t work on the stovetop.
Plumbing issues- two of the toilet on the second floor needed plunging the 1st day of our stay. The bathroom faucet clogged when guests used it during event.
A guest that stayed for 1 day reported clog toilet on 1st floor to site manager.
Solution: A bill for flushing paper towels even though there were tissues and a paper towel (I provided due to lack of hand towels) in the bathroom.
The host could not spare the time and effort to properly resolve our issues. But, tried to nickel and dime us for early check in, a chef, baby’s crib, and extra day stay.
Summary: Avoid the hassle and stay elsewhere for a truly luxurious, pampered and relaxing stay.
