Exciting news! We have completed construction of our Casita and Casa Mimosa can now accommodate 20 guests with 7 Bedrooms and 9 Bathrooms. Here's the best news, we will not be increasing our nightly rates to reflect this increased capacity. Compare that to any other rental on the island if you can even find one like Casa Mimosa!
Please note...We do not rent to guests who have negative ratings. No exceptions. Our cancellation policy is as follows: We will refund your deposit less a 20% handling fee and any service charges if we receive a written email request 90 days or more prior to the rental period start.**

Welcome to Casa Mimosa, a luxurious and spacious home located on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres. We are only a short boat ride away from the vibrant city of Cancun and easily accessible from all points global via Cancun International Airport. Our villa has a perfect blend of indoor / outdoor spaces that allow guests to fully enjoy the surrounding scenery and immerse themselves in the culture and colorful aesthetic of Isla Mujeres. The 4th floor palapa, which includes a wet bar and a king size hanging bed for afternoon siestas, provides 360-degree views of the coral blue waters in Mujeres Bay and the surrounding island plus breathtaking sunsets that are followed by beautiful nightly views of the Cancun skyline. Our private pool with white sandy beach offers a relaxing place to enjoy the warm Mexican climate and take in the Caribbean landscape that features native plants and palm trees which add to the villa's natural beauty. Explore our island with golf carts and discover the amazing culinary scene with 100+ restaurants and local eateries. Inside, the house is spacious and welcoming with high ceilings, hand painted murals, colorful tiles, and bright accents that evoke a sense of warmth and relaxation. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms, each with its own climate system controls and a terrace that overlooks the ocean/pool area. 2 separate living rooms, including one with an adjacent wet bar, offer space to spread out and the fully equipped kitchen contains everything necessary for your culinary needs. The outdoor entertainment area adjacent to the pool is covered by a grand palapa that provides a break from the sun when you need it and offers seating for large groups. The bar area with a barbecue grill contains everything necessary to host your family dinners and celebrations including a full-size refrigerator, chest freezer, ice maker, blender and even a coffee maker to enjoy the quiet mornings. Other amenities include hammocks on the terrace, a programmable safe in every bedroom for your valuables and TV’s throughout the villa including the outdoor palapa. Towels and linens are provided. We spent an entire week at Casa Mimosa and had our wedding there on the beach at the house. It was simply incredible! The house itself is amazing, and the perfect venue. We stay on the island quite often and Casa Mimosa was by far our favorite place we have stayed.Morgan and Alexa are absolute rockstars! From the planning and organizing, to timing and execution, it was everything you could ever imagine in a fabulous beach wedding! Miguel and his wife are second to none! Accommodating, friendly, hard working, and detail oriented. The small touches and the sentimental details they went above and beyond to provide to us made our stay and our wedding night more special than we could have ever imagined. Great house, great location and best hosts

Miguel is wonderful. What a great guy. He treated us like family, and even cooked the fish we caught. Did everything he could do to make our trip wonderful. Cannot say enough about him and his wife. The house is everything you see in photos. There were 14 of us and everyone fit. The pool is awesome and clean. If you are a group who like sitting in the water at the beach, not the best place. There is a lot of sea grass. Not really an issue for us since we prefer the pool. The beach is very private and beautiful.

Isla Mujeres Invitational

We planned a trip to the island for our daughter's graduation celebration. 14 of us traveled and Miguel helped us set up shuttles from the airport, boat transportation to the house along with the return trip. He also assisted in getting golf carts delivered to the house before we arrived. These items sound small but they take significant stress out for the trip planner (me). The house was clean upon arrival and was cleaned again in the middle of our stay. It is a big house and the cleaning work was excellent. The outdoor areas are why we booked the house as the pool and tiki area was an amazing space to relax, eat and entertain. We held a 2 on 2 volleyball tournament that was a lot of fun too! The house is in a quiet traffic area of the island but has easy access to both ends of the island. If you have a big group that wants to relax together this is an excellent choice!

Can't Imagine a More Perfect Property!

Casa Mimosa is simply put - perfect. We were an extended family of 10, and the rooms, inside spaces - and especially the outdoor spaces were incredible. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, the air conditioning was solid, and there were all the amenities you can think of in the indoor and outdoor kitchen spaces. Poolside, there were plenty of lounge chairs, floaters, and the hot tub was a plus. The grill was spotless, and we used it many times for meals, enjoying the spacious outdoor seating areas. We built puzzles in the outdoor spaces, and played volleyball almost every day in the sand volleyball court. Don't bring any puzzles and games (or books) -- there are plenty available onsite! We rented three carts and there was plenty of room for parking. We greatly appreciated the easy access to filtered water outdoors, and in multiple places on the first and second floors. The ten of us definitely challenged the strength of the wifi, but it was manageable. Having Gasper onsite was a plus. He was helpful, but absolutely non-intrusive. If we ever come back to Isla, we will stay here again. Highly recommend!

Casa Mimosa has a long history of providing guests with memorable experiences. Our onsite manager Miguel has been an integral part of this process and he has a list of contacts that can provide any/all services you might require. From golf carts to private culinary experiences, he can help you turn your vacation into an lifetime memory you will never forget. We are always evaluating our property for potential upgrades that enhance our experience as well as our guests, after all, we stay there too. We welcome customer feedback so that we stay up to date on issues that might arise and will always provide an immediate response to any guest request. We are also one of the few properties on the island with a private sandy beach. We are located on the tranquil western side of the island on Mujeres Bay between Cancun and Isla. The eastern side of the island is very rocky and can be aggressive for small children or guests with mobility challenges.
