A close boardwalk coupled with long rubber sand mat makes it easy for anyone, including a handicapped person, to reach the water's edge. A shower is included on the boardwalk just before coming back inside the unit.

Unloading and loading, carrying shopping bags, and access to the parking area is especially easy as the front door is only steps from each (both the parking lot and loading circle). A guarded gate, watchful and dependable staff, and well lit parking area are just a few of the many reasons one can feel safe, secure and confident while visiting and during your vacation.

While here, we forget all the “stuff” that is in our very scheduled life and simply relax and enjoy the moments; be it walking on the beach, riding bikes, dining out, shopping or best of all, just hanging out with family and friends inside the unit or at the many outdoor living spaces.
An added benefit is the gorgeous sunrises and fabulous sunsets making strolling the beach a much anticipated delight. Dolphin are often seen on the water’s horizon and sounding waves helps ease the most heavy of burdens.
Our condominium sleeps 8 people making it easy for large families to stay in one location. The master bedroom has a king size bed with HDTV (in all bedrooms). There are two standard beds in the middle bedroom and two queen beds in the front bedroom. Each of the three bedrooms has it’s own bath and spacious walk in closets.
There is just something really wonderful about having a 'sun and fun' filled but tired day and crawling into a luxury bed for a glorious sleep! We strive for this pleasant experience for you and each bed has our own soft sateen sheets (not those of a cleaning service) and alternative down pillows/comforters..

The unit is on the end, making it most private and is surrounded with palm trees and large yard area where rabbits and squirrels often creep out of their shrubbery homes and play. Seagulls watch for a generous person giving out afternoon snacks.
The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary appliances (including crock and steamer pots) to have a nice meal 'in' if desired. Also included is a Keurig Coffee maker with K-Cups, sugar and creamer available upon arrival. There is also a regular coffee maker and smoothie maker. Just outside the unit is both gas and charcoal grills, picnic table and yard games. We often put steaks or hamburgers on the grill and come back inside to do other things while they cook. The great night lighting makes it easy to grill 'after hours' which teenagers especially enjoy.
Fishing onsite at the ocean or in the well stocked lagoons is also an option for guests.

The swimming pool is only a three minute walk which has both children's and adult heated pools, a tanning shelf, and hot tub area.
Plenty of loungers, shaded picnic tables, beautiful tropical landscaping and outdoor living space are things which make this pool area most special.
A children's playground with slides and swings for all ages actually, is also just steps away from the unit.
Biking is a favorite treat for our family and a convenient bike rack is just outside the door. Both onsite and offsite bike rentals are available. Calling ahead of arrival is easy with bikes being delivered and instructions left in the door. There needs to be no further contact upon leaving. Bike paths cover the entire island not only for biking but also roller blading and skating.
Nearby game room, putt putt course and close movie theater is often an option for the ending of a wonderful day.

Being in the middle of the island is a great advantage for shopping and dining. Planning your day and evening is convenient and enjoyable depending upon what activities would be desired.
The Island has some of the finest dining in the world. We always make a point of going to the harbor (Harbor Town) on Thursday nights. There we eat at the Crazy Crab which is one of the greatest seafood restaurants on the Island. We walk the decks, take pictures, watch the magnificent yachts going in and out of dock, marvel at the lighthouse with each visit and visit the shops in the courtyard. However simply sitting and listening to story telling and live music is quite a memorable experience.
The same story teller has been making children laugh and have a lifetime of memories for over 20 years. Our boys still speak of how he included the group in the stories and games.

Going to the Salty Dog Café is a real treat for the young at heart. Join thousands of others around the world and buy yourself a Salty Dog T-shirt in a variety of colors and styles as well as treating yourself to the best hotdogs to be found. You will smile to yourself when you see a Salty Dog tee shirt in some unexpected place in or out of the country for there is only one place in which to get such a treasure!
Crabbing and parasailing, dolphin tours or deep sea fishing are all popular sporting events that the whole family can enjoy.

The entire Island is like that of one huge resort. The streets and highways are dotted with flowering shrubbery and palm trees while ponds and water falls often grace the entrance of various resorts and golf courses. If you are a golfer, the Island has twelve of the most beautiful championship courses in the country. Seasonal blooming flowers and landscaping make for a pleasurable visit whatever month one chooses to come to the island.

All in all, just the thought of Hilton Head Island brings a smile to my lips and a skip in my walk. The happy memories that our family has shared together will be held forever dear in my heart.. From the white sand and high tide folly to the sea grass swaying in the wind; or the smells of salt water and sun, seafood and sweet mimosa all bring yearning of past days of understated splendor.
Each season has its own special qualities. We love to go to the lsland in winter as some days reach 70 plus degrees which is quite different from our home in the mountains of NC. In October, the ocean water is warmer than it is in May and surprises many first time visitors at that time of year. With hardly ever any temperatures below freezing, the greenery and tropical plants thrive year round.
