Chapel Cottage has a coastal vibe and relaxing feel, with authentic cedar wood walls throughout, local art work and coastal collectibles from the surrounding area. This cottage is simple and comfortable. It is not modern and does not have the latest tech gadgets, it is coastal cozy. The cottage has as a comfortable family room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a wrap around deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the family room/den and there are 2 flat screen TV's with cable and DVD players. There is a a stackable washer and dryer located in the queen bedroom closet. There is room to park four cars in the front of the house. There is a small fenced in yard with a charcoal grill and picnic table. Walk to the beach four blocks away.

Enjoy one of Port A's historic neighborhoods in "Old Town" . The Chapel Cottage is is part of the Chapel on the Dunes property.
The little chapel, built in the 1930's, is the oldest chapel on the island. The Port Aransas museum conducts scheduled tours of the chapel on the first and third Saturdays of each month. For more information regarding the Chapel. contact the Port Aransas Museum.

Weddings are still conducted at the Chapel once or twice per month so don't be surprised if a wedding occurs during your stay. The chapel is small so no worries about large crowds, Most people that marry in the chapel have a small intimate group of family and close friends.
