About this property

Fully fenced yard, dogs welcome!

Centrally located for loads of fun all around. Full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining areas. Patio area, fire pit, bbq grill, picnic table, and walking distance to Rainbow Lake. Sleep additional people on the couch or bring a bed roll! No additional charge for extra guests. Indoor fire place for the cold winter evenings! We will provide wood for the first fire. Window unit swamp cooler keeps it comfy in summer! This is not central A/ C., but two furnaces. Come have some fun.
The space
The cabin has some small upgrades and updates, but a lot of the original charm still remains. You should find everything you need to feel at home! Our main home sits on the property behind the cabin, we share a driveway. Master bedroom has a king size bed and the additional bedroom has a queen, additional bedroom has an exterior door and door leading to bedroom is off kitchen
Guest access
We have a fire pit in between the cabin and our main home that is shared use, as well as the bbq grill. Which is guest use only. we do our best to give you your privacy unless you need something!
Other things to note
Check in time is 3pm unless we can arrange earlier based on previous guests. Check out time is 11am again unless we can arrange for later based on impending guests! We want to make check in and check out as easy and flexible as possible because that’s what we like when we travel!

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and return the keys

Please place all used sheets and towels in the hamper. Wash any dishes, leave them to be put away. Take out all trash to the large dumpster in the back of the cabin. Turn off lights, heater or a/c.

Leave doors unlocked and leave key in lock box.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Wonderfully relaxing stay in this lovely log cabin… very well equipped…enough DVDs to last for a year! Perfect location for local restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. Just one small suggestion…there could be a bit more privacy on the king bedroom and bathroom windows.

Perfect for us.

The cabin was cozy and well equipped. The hosts were very responsive and even though the cabin was close to their home, it was very private. We had our two dogs a long and the property was very dog friendly. We would definitely return if we were visiting the White Mountains.

Great Little Cabin In The Woods

This place is close to all kinds of outdoor activities as well as local music. It also has the best shady front porch to just sit and relax. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The owners really took a liking to our fur babies and our fur babies took a liking to the owners as well. Our dogs had an amazing time running freely on the property chasing squirrels and we enjoyed the cool mornings having coffee on the porch. So incredibly peaceful. Just what we needed.

A cute rustic cabin

The cabin is small, but cute. Perfect for just the 2 of us and a couple of dogs! The hosts were great and let us check in early! The lake is close, a few minutes walk, but the access is pretty limited to the actual water. Pretty area though and a nice cool down coming from the Phoenix Valley

This was our second visit to this wonderful cozy cabin. Our first trip was just my wife and myself (and our beloved dog Banjo) celebrating an anniversary. This trip was with my daughter son-in-law and their golden retriever as well. It is perfect for four people and the most wonderful dog friendly yard that you can imagine. The owners are outstanding at responding and taking care of any issues that might arise. As we left we spoke with the owners and let them know that we intend to make this an annual family reunion!

Great Getaway

Cozy cabin with awesome yard

My family and doggies had the best time. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Great location, with a short walk to the lake. The property was fully fenced and the kids and my dogs loved all the room to run. The host is quick to respond and is very sweet. We would love to stay at the cabin again.

Super cozy and great location!

The cabin is everything you could ask for in Pinetop/Lakeside. It has the cozy traditional cabin vibe with modern upgrades in the bathroom and kitchen that still have plenty of charm. The property is beautiful and very well cared for. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the squirrels. We’d definitely stay again! The hosts are attentive but also give you plenty of privacy. Close to lots of bars/restaurants too!

Nice quiet spot in the mountains

We really loved this cabin. The large lot that was completely fenced was great for our dogs. Our dog Bailey was obsessed with the squirrels in the yard haha. Shannon and Jessica were awesome hosts and available if you needed something. The location was great, close to town but far enough away for peace and quiet. The beds were comfy too! We look forward to staying here again!

We had a fantastic time stay at The Coop! Beautiful location, beautiful fenced and safe back yard for dogs to run and run around. It was absolutely perfect. Warm and welcoming

What a great introduction to the Pinetop lakeside area. The space is perfect for our dogs and the lake was around the corner (less than 1/4 mile) away. Our hosts Jess and Shannon were welcoming and fun. We had so much fun we want to buy something in the area. I can’t recommend this place enough.
