BBQ and dine outside on the adjacent private patio. The MCM styled kitchen is complete including vintage refrigerator and dinette tabletop. Free Wi-Fi and a smart TV loaded with all your favorite subscription apps will keep you connected and current. Bluetooth players are included to stream music from your device. The super quiet surroundings will lull you to sleep in the Tempura-Pedic queen bed. The western exposure and blackout window shades allows you sleep as long as you wish each morning.

On cooler days, the propane heater stove will gently warm the room while offering an appealing fireplace glow. On summer days the Montana mountain breeze combined with a vintage fan will keep you comfortable in this super-insulated guesthouse. Sleep soundly with smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in every room, and a fire extinguisher prominently accessible in the kitchen. The on-demand water heater will provide always available, never-ending hot water for long showers, and the deep-well water tastes so very good.

The rustic themed bathroom includes a full shower with rain-shower head, overhead heat lamp to warm you as you exit the shower, and a separate thermostatically controlled wall heater for complete comfort.

The guesthouse is a great base camp location providing easy access to many activities. Ride your mountain bikes a short ½ mile to access hours of riding on forest mountain trails so numerous you can ride for hours and only be on the same trail going out and returning. Winter skiing is only 43 miles away at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. The West Glacier Park entrance is 78 super-scenic miles (1.5 hours) away. The entire region is filled with some of the best golf courses, set in truly stunning locations. The town of Polson is only 10 minutes away, and the larger cities of Kalispell (50 minutes) and Missoula (75 minutes) are easy trips to explore, dine, and shop.

The Guesthouse is located a short 15-minute walk to the shores of Flathead Lake. Or, bring your boat with you and enjoy outstanding days on the cleanest, clearest, and largest natural lake in the western US. The “Walstad” public boat launch is only 7 minutes (3.2 miles) away with ample boat trailer parking after launching. Flathead Lake is great for waterskiing/boarding, fishing for Mackinaw Lake trout, or peacefully swinging on anchor in Wild Horse Island State Park cove while swimming and watching herds of deer, mountain sheep, and occasionally, the wild horses that still roam this 2200-acre island. You can also take your boat to many local eateries and bars located in the bays and small towns around the lake. Tie up at their docs and sample good food and locally brewed or distilled beverages. Ample parking is available for your boat and tow-rig at the guesthouse.
