We thoroughly enjoyed this charming cottage and it was perfect for me and my daughter. The decor was beautiful and sophisticated and the bed linens, towels and kitchen items were top quality. We also loved the large patio with lush landscape and an herb garden.

About the host
Your host
I have been in the Hamptons since the late 70s when I took a job as an artists assistant. It was love at first sight. This cottage was been my home for many years and I wanted to renovate it so it had the warmth of an English or Nantucket cottage. My time is split between NYC and Wainscott. I am in a design related business.
Why they chose this property
Wainscott is the most charming and historic area of the Hamptons. We have beautiful farms and scenic areas that you will experience at once.
What makes this property unique
This is a special property because we have not exploded the size of our home in order to preserve the spacious feeling of the property surrounding the house. We love hearing the birds and having a small garden. We spend a good part of the day and evening out of doors.
