Do not stay here

Stay here if you enjoy dirty and disappointing apartments. Window was open and would not close, there was a blind over it to try to hide the problem but we can’t sleep next to an open window in downtown Vancouver. When the manager was contacted, she didn’t do anything and we had to jimmy the window closed. The drain in the shower was clogged and we thought it was plugged, but we pulled a massive hair clump out of it so it’s never been properly cleaned. Thermostat and bathroom fan were inoperable. Worst of all, there were stains and hairs all over the bedsheets so they were obviously not clean. The other bedsheets we’re old and pilling. There were dishes and towels left in the dishwasher and laundry machine. The towels set out for us smelled musty.

Good spot in the city

Clean apartment. Great location. Walking distance from many shops and restaurants. Safe area. Good communication from host.

1 week trip to Vancouver to visit our son (Feb 3rd to Feb 10th, 2024

Cleanliness and location was a 5 star. However, we were interested in another VRBO. The influencing factor (reason we picked this particular place) was because it was advertised as having 2 bathrooms which best suited our situation. The unit only has 1 bathroom! How can this happen? Can't complain upon discovering this, as this could not be rectified!

Decent Place

Very nice place and a reasonable rate. Our only concerns were some faulty finishings like the windows not closing unless jimmied or the toilet paper holder falling constantly. Seems like a nice design that was just not executed well by the builder, not the owner’s fault necessarily but would have been nice to have everything in the unit working properly Would stay here again though!
