Very pleased

We enjoyed staying near Patagonia and Patagonia Lake Park at this property with a scenic view in a somewhat secluded area. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our time at Paul and his wife's home. It is very well taken care of and was very clean. The view is spectacular and it is well equipped. Would highly recommend!

My wife Laura and I fell in love with southern Arizona while visiting our daughter after she moved to Tucson. Originally from Ohio, we love the great outdoors, the gorgeous Arizona sunsets, and the wonderfully unique cultural history and diversity in the area. From hiking to kayaking and a little mountain biking, we find every excuse we can to be outside. Oh, and don't forget an afternoon relaxing at one of our favorite Arizona vineyards.

Why they chose this property

Secluded and quiet, Vista de la Montaña (Mountain view in Spanish) is the best of many worlds. From the unique dining, vineyards and attractions in Patagonia and Sonoita, to a relaxing day by the pool while the roadrunners and cactus wren make their daily visits, you get to choose how active, or just plain laid back you want to be. There's plenty of hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, and even off roading all around.

What makes this property unique

Our expansive covered patio with a perfect view of the sunrise from one side, and the sunset at the other is just plain hard to leave. Even on chilly evenings the views from the Great Room welcome in the southern Arizona mountains. We just love watching the roadrunners chase down a bug for their morning meal, or the sound of owls, turkeys, and even a coyote or two in the distance in the evening.

And when the sun goes down, the night lights of Nogales and the vast open starry sky come to life in the clear Arizona nights.

We also love watching the summer monsoon storms make their way up from Mexico and put on a spectacular light show and some of the most amazing double rainbows we've every witnessed. Can you tell we love it?
