About the host
Hosted by Francisco Chavez

Hello, if you're looking for a host and a home in the real Oaxaca, you've at the right place! My family and I will make your stay a comfortable, authentic and memorable trip to Oaxaca.
Why they chose this property
I grew up nearby and want to preserve nature and history. Having traveled to other parts of Mexico and the world, I realized how much Oaxaca has to offer: Food, Art, Culture. We're excited to introduce you to this part of Oaxaca. This property is quietly located at the bottom of a mountain overlooking the Oaxaca Valleys. Perfectly located off of the main highway that connects you to all of the must sees outside of Oaxaca city: Petrified waterfalls, the Mezcal Route, archeological sites in Mitla, Yagul, and all the artisan villages of Matatlan (World Capital of Mezcal), Teotitlan del Valle (weaving village) and more.
What makes this property unique
Nearly 400 year old foundation, adobe house restored with modern touches of comfort and convenience in a beautiful setting in the Oaxacan valley.
