Oaxaca is waiting for you at this lovely bungalow decorated with Frank Lloyd reproduction pieces . This second story, amazingly spacious 1-bedroom retreat has a living room with two walls of floor to ceiling windows overlooking spectacular gardens.

The property offers a solar-heated swimming pool, exercise room, WiFi, and AC for your convenience. Relax in the living room after a day of exploring. Experience what Oaxaca has to offer with a stay at our bungalows. Free shuttle to El Centro (or the downtown). Parking in our enclosed compound for guests with a car.

This is one of 5 bungalows within a walled compound. Your bungalow can sleep up to 4 people. It has a private bedroom with a queen size bed (sleeps 2) . With a sofa bed (1) in the living room, an additional twin can be added to the spacious area (1).

The bedroom has a sliding glass door to take you to your private terrace. With a privacy wall and a wall of beautiful climbing bougainvillea and other vines, the terrace is outfitted with furniture for you to rest, relax, and take in the sun. A giant umbrella provides ample shade for those wishing to relax and read.

The living room/dining kitchen areas is large and spacious. Two walls of floor to ceiling windows provide guests a spectacular view of the spacious gardens below. A variety of cacti and succulents fill the desert portion of the garden, and British style garden with hedges and flowering plants occupy the far gardens.

A second smaller patio is off the main door area, giving guests a place enjoy a morning coffee or the fresh air.

The bungalow has a fully stocked kitchen (dishes, pots & pans, cooking utensils, etc.)
with a cook top, microwave, refrigerator, water dispenser, and a table for dining. The private bath has both bath and pool towels. Ample storage is throughout the bungalow for clothes, suitcases, etc.

Four other bungalows are on our property making it an ideal place for family or group reunions. Bungalows are spaced throughout the property to maximize privacy and permit guests to live in a multi-climate, garden environment with ample outdoor seating for relaxing.

The pool area is surrounded by a desert garden. The pool is solar heated for your comfort. Lounge chairs, umbrella, table and chairs, outdoor bathrooms and a shower make it a lovely place to read, relax and swim. The exercise room is conveniently located in the same area. The (unsupervised) exercise room has treadmill, elliptical, free weights, dumbbells, stability ball, yoga mats, bench, etc.

Our staff can wash and iron clothing for a small fee upon request.

Our location is just outside of Oaxaca City. We offer airport pick up and return, and shuttle service to El Centro or downtown. Free parking in our enclosed compound is available for guests who wish to rent a car.

Fantastic experience

The property is gorgeous. Bungalow overlooking sculptured gardens, 2 private patios, views of mountains in the distance. Best of all was the friendliness of Deb and Victor. They chauffeured us all over town every day, did airport pickups, and were super attentive to our every need. We're leaving here with new friends, for sure!

We never expected such a fantastic stay! We were originally looking at hotels downtown until we stumbled upon Debra and Victor's place, the Bule Villas, a short distance from downtown. While there's much to be said about being able to walk out to the action of the city, we often preferred places that are a bit private and yet accessible. This place was everything that we asked for- and MUCH more! We were warmly greeted by the owners even as we arrived late into the evening. They were such gracious hosts and really attended to every single need we had - from adding on a breakfast option to getting around the city (BTW, if it wasn't clear in the description, they offer a special drop-off and back to the villas so you don't have to take a taxi), to showing us a local market with delicious food. Of course, we happened to be the the only guests that week, so got some extra attention :). The villa grounds are perfectly maintained with amazing old trees and windy paths - it is literally an oasis in a place that can be fairly hectic. The villa also comes with a kitchen and all the basic appliances. It's comfy and homey and everything you wanted for a stress-free stay. While all 5 villas would have provided a fantastic stay, we were particularly lucky to get one that had two private balconies :). If you are looking for a local experience that has ample privacy and serenity, don't pass this up!

Sehr schöne, große, helle Unterkunft mit zwei Terrassen in einer wunderschön grünen Anlage mit Pool. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und man hatte uns bereits den Kühlschrank mit kühlen Getränken bestückt und auch Obst und Kaffee standen bereit. Debra hat uns super den Weg dorthin erklärt. Viktor hat sich sehr um uns bemüht und immer in die Stadt gefahren, sodass wir nur den Heimweg mit dem Taxi fahren mussten. Die Fahrt in das Stadtzentrum dauert circa 15 Minuten, dafür schläft man recht ruhig. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Vielen Dank für alles!

Why they chose this property

Our property is situated a short distance from Oaxaca City. We offer shuttle service to the town center (El Centro) to make life more convenient. It is away from the noise and chaos of the city. It is quiet and peaceful. Excellent for resting and relaxing after a hard of play in Oaxaca. Our property has several micro-climates with in it. Birds are frequent guests with our large fountain and many flowers to attract them. Hummingbirds are frequent visitors. We have 2 eagles that nest annually on the top of one our pine trees. Our pool area, away from the bungalows, has a gorgeous desert microclimate with a variety of cacti. Geckos wander the property as if they are the owners.
