Everything about this apartment was excellent, from the furnishings to the décor to the location. The king-size bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of floor space. It was spotlessly clean throughout and everything was in good working order. Seems like every amenity was very well thought out. I really appreciated the nicely crafted pine-paneled walls, which spanned every inch of the unit. The location, a couple minutes’ walk from both the Isle au Haut ferry and the center of the village, couldn’t have been more convenient.
The apartment is tucked in a corner of the first floor of the Merchant’s Row building, providing quiet and privacy while still allowing for some pleasant exchanges with the nice folks tending the shop and gallery during business hours. I really hated to leave following my three-night stay. Hope to return in the future.
My only disappointment was in having to reach out for check-in instructions the day of my arrival. Would like the communication to have been more proactive.
