Adorable spot

This was an adorable spot to stay while we were in town for a wedding. It was close enough to coffee shops, restaurants, and bars to be fun but remote enough to feel like a getaway!

Great little retreat!

My partner and I were in town for a wedding weekend and after a long day of celebrations the cottage was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The back porch was perfect for having our breakfast and enjoying the peace and quiet. Location was absolutely perfect for us. Easy to find and nice and cozy inside.

The cottage is absolutely adorable! Beautifully decorated with fantastic outdoor space. The owner was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. We will definitely be returning next year- and staying longer!

Lovely little Home

We were impressed! Such a pretty little bright white/grey home with accents. Nice deck and backyard although we weren't there long enough to really make use of it. The nice place to stay added a real plus to our Anniversary Outing. We enjoyed our time by Lake Michigan. The hostess communicated very good with us and was accommodating.

Peaceful Retreat, Still Close to Everything Harbor Country

Really nice tiny cottage in the peace and quiet of Harbor Country. The cottage is perfect for no more than two people, as bath and bedroom are very small, but the open concept living area and deck are perfect. The climate control system is versatile and accurate to keep you comfortable. We enjoyed bonfires in the pit at night, and coffee each morning on the deck. The air here is so clean and fresh! There are three options for coffee: drip, French press, and Moka pot. Bring your own grinder, and get espresso beans from Infusco Roasters in Sawyer. The roast is so smooth and coffee perfection. We recommend the Moka pot for coffee served in heaven! Incredible! There are abundant restaurants everywhere. We recommend Gather All Day, The Historian, Susan's Sawyer, & Hummingbird Lounge for dressier options, and for a great pub dining, Greenbush for wings and brews. All are 5 to 20 minutes away. The host, Julie, is quick to respond to inquiries, and accomodating requests. We highly recommend this Tiny Cottage Under the Pines for it's cleanliness, peacefulness, and location to this awesome area of Michigan.

Cozy and Clean Cottage!

Julie was incredibly helpful from the time I booked, even sent me a list of recommended places to get food, activities, etc. so I could get to planning our weekend. Checking in was a breeze and she was very responsive, making sure everything was good and we didn’t need anything. Upon walking in, everything was pristine, and smelt nice. When traveling I always do a thorough check for bedbugs and even when checking in cracks and crevices there wasn’t hardly a speck of dust. All the necessities were provided, soap, hair dryer, coffee, and there are even games and books if you had a longer stay or got rained in. The backyard has a nice deck and fire pit for outside time, it’s in a wooded area so it feels secluded, we even saw deer from the front door! My boyfriend and I just stayed the weekend but this cottage would be great for a longer stay as it’s spacious enough and there’s so much to do in the area. This will be my first choice to stay at next time we’re in SW Michigan. Thanks for the great stay, Julie!
