Emerald Lakes Estate is a a hidden sanctuary spanning 7 acres amongst 40 acres of pine and oak trees.

The Cottage features an upstairs master bedroom with a luxurious king bed and a private ensuite. Downstairs, a second bedroom offers two queen beds with its own ensuite, and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room adds extra comfort. A fully equipped kitchen lets you whip up delightful treats, and laundry facilities are at your disposal. Imagine yourself outside by the crackling fire pit, roasting marshmallows under a starry sky, or firing up the BBQ grill for a delicious feast.

Step into outdoor fun with a game of pickleball, tennis, or basketball right on the premises. Take a leisurely stroll to the serene Emerald Lake, where charming Koi fish and friendly turtles eagerly await your visit. POOL - don't forget our fantastic enclosed private pool for an invigorating swim. The pool is located in its own secluded area on the property, it is not a community pool. The property is 7 acres and is not part of a neighbourhood. Furry friends? Absolutely welcome!

Hidden Gem

The hosts were amazing and so accommodating. I loved how secluded it was and the property itself is beautiful. The front yard alone, I could spend all day in. It has a beautiful pond where you can sit and feed the koi fish and is so peaceful out there. Book with Ali, you won’t regret it!

Lovely Honeymoon Stay!!!

This place is incredible! The hosts are wonderful people. My wife n I stayed here for 7 nights on our honeymoon n absolutely loved the place! Everything is exactly as it is portrayed in the add if not better! Very private yet close to fun, in St Augustine (oldest city in USA) Thank you, Russ n Ali for making our stay a once in a lifetime experience!

Best kept secret in St. Augustine!!!

This is such a hidden gem!! It was exactly what we were searching for! The cottage was comfy and a wonderful place to sit back and relax with everything we needed!! It was very short distance to beaches and restaurants. The kids loved feeding the fish and making wishes at the fountain. Alison and her husband were super accommodating! We can’t wait to go back!!

End of the school year get away

Russ and Ali are a very sweet couple who are very excited about their little cottage in the woods. The time and effort put into the little details made our stay a very comfortably homey experience. I knew exactly what the cottage would provide and made sure to pack the rest. We visited historical St. Augustine and the beach while at their cottage. It took about 25-30 minutes to drive there, but we loved the privacy provided at their cottage and didn't mind. We highly recommend their get away. Hope they have many years of success in their endeavors. They are a lovely couple. Hope you get to meet the rest of the kids next time!

A Thoughtful Cottage

The owners have planned this cottage with all the vacay possibilities in mind — indoors and outdoors! We enjoyed the rooms, kitchen, laundry facility, outdoor seating, feeding the koi and turtles, walking the property, and our family photo at the fountain. Emerald Lakes is a for certain place to visit again!

We are Russel and Ali, a 30-something couple that is passionate about good food and drinks, travel, and going on adventures. Russel is a native-born Floridian who has traveled the world 5-times. Ali was born in the land Downunder and made her move to the USA in 2011. Together we have lived all over the place, but there is no place quite like St Augustine, Florida. After stumbling across this property while on vacation, we decided to sell everything we own and turn it into a destination experience to share with special travellers who we can make memories with. We both enjoy connecting with new people and we are sincerely happy to host you. In our travels, we have realised the place you stay in while visiting can make or break an experience. Our goal is to make your experience, so please let us know if there’s anything we can do to make your stay better.
