Honesty is the best policy

Every VRBO we have stayed at in St Louis has been a negative experience. This particular owner was totally non responsive. He didn’t know our arrival date or who we were and had to send the cleaners out after our arrival. When I reported HVAC issues, he did not have the courtesy of a reply. We had no AC because the unit had no condensing unit. It was totally misrepresentation / fraud on his listing. It was 90+ degrees in the bedrooms. I had to buy a fan just to survive in the downstairs area. Would not recommend to anyone unless they had the lock code in advance and could verify there was AC. The house is very old, the steps very steep, but has space and is decorated nicely.
