Gorgeous waterfront home with new hot tub and beautiful afternoon sunsets.
New to this vacation rental platform (been on another one for many years with a 4.9 out of 5 rating). Enjoy a beautiful newly renovated house on low bank waterfront on Rich Passage, with 180 degree views. Watch sea lions, herons, eagles, possibly orcas, and other sea life from the huge picture windows, the patio, the fire pit, or relaxing in the new hot tub. Take in the tranquility of the passage while watching ferries and boat traffic sail by. Ideal for weekend getaways for up to 4 couples. For safety purposes this property is not suitable for children or infants.
The space This one of a kind, amazing property is located on 150' of low bank Northwest facing waterfront for afternoon sun and beautiful Summer sunsets on Rich Passage, a ten minute drive from quaint downtown Port Orchard. The house was recently renovated, and has two master bedrooms with views of the Sound, two additional rooms in back, and a pull out sofa in a common area in the larger back room. (The shed/office seen in front of the house from the water is currently only used for storing summer lawn furniture and isn’t a sleeping quarter.) The house has an open floor plan, perfect for socializing with family and friends, and plenty of room both inside and out for gatherings. A brand new Samsung smart TV and Yamaha amp will provide entertainment for watching movies at night on Netflix or Amazon Prime, with its 7.1 surround sound system. It has a well-appointed gourmet kitchen, perfect for cooking large meals, a large BBQ on the patio and a dining room table that can seat eight. The views are fantastic from many of the rooms in the house, as well as the concrete patio which is perfect for outdoor entertaining. The house has a hot tub perfectly situated in the center of the yard off of the patio, with views in both directions of the passage. It features two fire pits (propane and wood) for relaxing either up near the house or down by the water. There are steps in the bulkhead that lead down to the beach for beach combing, paddle boarding, or kayaking. Beautiful hiking trails amongst old growth trees, ferns and moss are in Wynn Jones Preserve County Park - the trailhead only a hundred yards up the road from the house. Manchester Park and its hiking trails are also within walking distance. Tucked in the center of a cove with 180 degree unobstructed views, it is truly a very relaxing, quiet, and special location on Rich Passage. Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire house. Other things to note The house is great for socializing with friends, and enjoying the waterfront, but as I have neighbors, to be respectful of them loud parties and events are not allowed, and noise needs to be kept down after 10:00 p.m. I will consider renting the space for events, and children on a case by case basis.

Great family time and could not have asked for a better location. The house was adequately filled with all the necessities and more.We loved our stay. Thanks Joe
We had a wonderful experience at this property. We traveled to this property from Denver, looking forward to a relaxing stay with a beautiful view and valuable time spent with close friends. The amenities at the house were great. It had everything we needed. We spent the majority time on the back patio taking in the amazing view and watching the sea life during high and low tide. Our last day at the house we were lucky enough to see orcas who come in to the Sound to look

Thank you for the great review! The house is perfect for relaxation and tranquility!
This is a beautiful home. It has everything you need and more. Very clean. Watching all the sea life was amazing. We were lucky enough to be there when the USS Ronald Regan floated by. We hope to stay again. If we all (7 of us) had one complaint, it was the pillows. The worst. Bring your camera. You never know what you’ll see out those doors.
This was a beautiful house directly on the water. It was well-stocked and had all the amenities we needed. The owner was very communicative and made sure all went well. There were short trails through the forest nearby, and the closest Albertson's was about a 10-minute drive. We had a great time and would recommend the house. One thing to note is that the upstairs bedroom is up a stairwell and there is no doorway. The other 2 bedrooms have doors with glass panels. The 4th bedroom has a solid door and it is adjoined to one of the other bedrooms. This does give the house an open feel, although something to consider if you need privacy in the bedrooms.
My girlfriends and I drove through a beautiful wooded, winding road and when we were out of the woods there was a beautiful view of Puget Sound and a house that looked just like the pictures! We entered the home and it was amazing! The view was awesome! We chose our rooms and got to the business of exploring the property, ending up on the veranda looking out at Bain Bridge Island as a Ferry cruised by. The kitchen was very well appointed and we soon were enjoying the food and drink we brought with us. There is a master bedroom on the first floor and two other bedrooms and another master on the second floor. The two other bedrooms were a little disappointing, as one bed was in a small room under the stairs; we called it the "Harry Potter" room, and the other was in a room with the washer, dryer, sink, water heater and a door (with a doggy door) and the bed mattress was very uncomfortable. There was a half bath for those bedrooms to share off the family/kitchen room, so we shared our showers in the master bedrooms. There is a hot tub, and it was very nice to sit outside and watch the ferries go by and enjoy the sunset. All in all, it was a very wonderful time. I think if the beds were better and there was a King sized bed in the main floor bedroom, this would be even better! Thank you for opening your home to us and your location is beautiful!
Thanks to Joe, for sharing this beautiful property with us! He's a great host and very responsive from the time we booked 6 months earlier to the day we left! The VRBO description listed and great pictures tells it all! Loved my mornings on the patio, coffee in-hand, enjoying the quiet time of the tranquil water and nature all around. The soaring eagles, seals and deer are definitely there to see. The home is spacious and open allowing everyone to visit between kitchen, living and dining rooms. And, the 2 master suites have sitting areas should you want to retreat. Beautiful views from almost every window. The kitchen is well stocked and has about any appliance and ample amenities to cook for our family of seven. We enjoyed the BBQ most evenings. Winding down the day after dinner and watching the sunsets from the large hot tub that sits out overlooking the water was incredible. We could not have asked for more beautiful weather this mid-July. The adults launched their personal kayaks and paddle boards off the shore. We did have 2 young children 3 and 6 yrs and were supervised on the lower bank at water's edge during low tide. It is not a sandy beach for children to swim; however, there are swimmable sandy beaches and lakes nearby. The ferries are easy commutes to enjoy all the sites of Seattle by car or walk-ons. A day trip to the quaint Viking town of Poulsbo was fun. Lots of good memories were made!
This is a MUST-book property to enjoy!
