About this property

Harpers Ferry Cabin: Hot Tub, Deck, Fire Pit, WiFI

Summary:
Meadowlark Chalet is a secluded, newly-renovated cabin nestled in the woods, with everything you need for your Harpers Ferry getaway.

The highlights:
- Enjoy our outdoor hot tub!
- Relax & grill on the large deck
- Hang out & cook s’mores around the fire pit
- Stream movies or take video calls on the fastest WiFi you can get (50+ Mbps!)
- Drive 10 mins into Historic Harpers Ferry for great shops, restaurants, history, and river kayak/tubing rentals

Enjoy!

The Space:
Our colorful, newly-renovated cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families, or groups of friends. Meadowlark Chalet is the perfect home base for your Harpers Ferry getaway!

The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing!
- Two large bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with a twin over queen bunk), plus a sleeper sofa in the finished basement
- A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling
- Fast, reliable WiFi that's more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Fully-stocked kitchen with granite counter, stove/oven, and microwave
- An outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: corn hole, volleyball, soccer and kick balls, horseshoes, and many more!
- Open main room with exposed-beam ceiling

Outside the cabin, what cabin trip is complete without sitting around the campfire? We have Adirondack chairs for your whole group to sit around the fire pit to laugh and reminisce. :)

We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly.

Beyond the cabin itself, the Harpers Ferry area is great for so many reasons -- and Meadowlark Chalet is just a short drive to everything. Take in Civil War history in downtown historic Harpers Ferry, float down the Shenandoah River, go hiking in the woods, or explore the local wineries, breweries, and fantastic restaurants our area has to offer!

Charming property
This is a very charming and cozy house on private property. Very clean and comfortable. Close to lower town and restaurants. Also, conveniently located to the hiking trails. We really enjoyed hot tub after long day of activities. One of the highlights was bird watching in the morning while drinking coffee on the patio. Tony was a great host. He always responded immediately and checked with us daily making sure that we have everything we need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the property to my friends. Thank you Tony for your hospitality and attention to details.

Amazing country weekend getaway
Communication with the host was perfect from day one. Super fast to respond and very pleasant. The house was incredibly comfortable and very tastefully designed. The fireplace is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. The bedrooms were spacious and the outside space was gorgeous. I would highly recommend the house and the host!

I live in DC with my wife and three young kids. I love camping/hiking, drinking (and sometimes brewing) great beer and wine, exploring new restaurants and shops, and traveling all over.

Why they chose this property

We spent years searching for the perfect getaway and wanted to be close enough to DC that we could do a day trip. We fell in love with the area – and Meadowlark Chalet in particular. We love how cute and cozy our cabin is, and all the fun outdoor activities we can enjoy year-round. :)
